Oh that Cris Carter.
Andre, Fitz, Calvin, Roddy, Jennings is how I have it.
Andre, Fitz, Calvin, Roddy, Jennings is how I have it.
And Calvin had Shaun Hill most of last year and Kitna the years before that.... c'mon nowAndre has had Scaub all along, but there's no denying how beastly Andre Johnson is.
One year of similar stats puts him on the same level? All I said was you didn't mention the two previous seasons, which Andre was on pace to get to again if not for missing 3 games. Is there anything that I need to say aside from stats...? How else do you determine who's a good player?
What does the previous 2 seasons have to do with who's the best WR right now?One year of similar stats puts him on the same level? All I said was you didn't mention the two previous seasons, which Andre was on pace to get to again if not for missing 3 games.
Texans don't really have another threat in the passing game aside from Andre Johnson..Exactly, put Calvin with Schaub and he doesn't get any better? Come on now.
Not to mention until recently we had like no weapons around Calvin, and he drew constant double teams.
They had a much better running game and better targets around Johnson than the Lions did. Can't really deny that. Also better passer.Texans don't really have another threat in the passing game aside from Andre Johnson..
Because they aren't 5 years ago and are pretty recent seasons? What does the previous 2 seasons have to do with who's the best WR right now?
But like I just said, CJ was playing with rookie Stafford, Hill, Culpepper, Orvlosky, and Kitna the last few seasons lol.
Once again, Matt Schaub > Shaun Hill. Would you like me to say that another 47 times? He is obviously going to get the ball more if the QB can get it there better and more efficiently.Because they aren't 5 years ago and are pretty recent seasons?
And if you want to go strictly on last season, Andre had more yards and catches in 2 less games, so how exactly does that put Calvin on the same level? Calvin had more touchdowns but that has a lot to do with red zone targets.
In the games Matt Stafford started, Calvin Johnson put up these performances:Once again, Matt Schaub > Shaun Hill. Would you like me to say that another 47 times?
So penalize him for getting TDs cause Calvin is a better red zone target? lol.
I ain't knocking Andre. I'm just saying, he plays with a better QB. And to me, that's a factor. Are we really saying it matters what QB you play with? LOL.
If you're a good receiver, you make it work.. no excuses. Don't knock Andre because he has Schaub.
If you read my previous posts, I think I stated that. C'mon Man!And Calvin had Shaun Hill most of last year and Kitna the years before that.... c'mon now
Because a better and smarter QB doesn't have to force the issue to his #1 guy if he isn't open. This is why I didn't even mention Stafford at all in regards to last season. For whatever reason we didn't target Calvin early in the season.
Let me ask this yet again, if Calvin Johnson was traded for Andre, you don't think Calvin's numbers would be any better, and Andre's wouldn't get any worse? What aspect of Calvin's game makes him any worse than Andre Johnson?
You failed to answer my question.Because a better and smarter QB doesn't have to force the issue to his #1 guy if he isn't open.
Steve Johnson put up a similar season to Calvin down in Buffalo, am I suppose to believe he'd put up Andre Johnson numbers if he was traded to Houston?
