Called that Boesch homer. My dad was all pissed after Benoit decided he wanted to give up a couple homers, and I said "We'll be fine after Boesch hits this homer." haha

It was a great win though. Even though it was a blown lead, to come out and take it right back is great to see. Also nice for Avila to get a homer on his dad's b-day. Nice present for him. I got a little worried at the end, but Valverde did what he does. So it's all good.

Excited to see Fister debut, and Pauley had a nice debut as well.

I know good riddance to him lol. Can't wait for Lawrie to get called up. I just hope he kept playing 2B cuz Hill ain't cutting it anymore. The guy tries to hit everything outta the park. I loved him when he hit for average and got a lot of doubles.

I feel for Hill. He had a terrific year in 2009, and has lost it. It's been a roller coaster ride for him.

2 innings in and Fister already has more run production than he got on average in Seattle lol.
I'm sure he will enjoy it quite well in Detroit.

Jason Kipnis is the only player to homer in his first 3 games at Fenway Park. What a stat

Andrus slid with both of his hands up to prevent the double play. Is that legal?

Hmm, I must be blind then. I don't recall anyone ever sliding like that before in a game I've watched lol.

Well I have no idea what the play looked like lol. All I know is that your taught to slide with your hands off the ground when you slide feet first

Yanks already up 6-1 in the 2nd inning

AJ is pitching so anything could happen though.

Jeter has his average up to the mid .270's, making a comeback lol
