six-year, $36 million deal with $12.5 million guaranteed

big money for the big guy
That's not big money at all. That's actually a very reasonable contract. When I first saw the news break that it was a 6 year deal, I thought it would be in the 45-50 million dollar range.

NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora took to his Twitter account late on Tuesday night to give the Sidney Rice fans some hope.

“As expected Seahawks and Vikings deep in talks for Sidney Rice. Does he go to Seattle with his old coordinator or stay in MIN wit a new one?”

That sentence suggests the Vikings aren’t letting Rice go without a fight and that they may be willing to match or exceed any offer the Seahawks are putting out there.

Darrell Bevell already had a poor reputation in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and if he steals Rice away from the Vikings, he’ll probably never feel safe returning.

You have no room to be cocky.
You read other peoples opinions on if 2 players would be on your team. Who cares.
And if you think McNabb is god, you deserve him on your team lol.

Now I wait to be neg repped lol.

Have fun in 3rd place for the division.

Weddle won't be a viking.. It'll either be with the Jags, or back in San Diego.

The Vikings are reportedly backing off their interest in free agent S Eric Weddle.
The bidding for Weddle may be getting too rich for Minnesota's blood. The Chargers, Jaguars, Cowboys, Colts and Texans have all been mentioned as suitors for the top safety on the market.

LOL..

Vikequeens aint got money like the Jags.. get the fuck outtahere 701.

According to a league source, the club is “aggressively pursuing” Stephen Tulloch(notes), another player that coach Jim Schwartz knows well from his days with the Tennessee Titans. Tulloch made 160 tackles last season for the Titans and has not missed a game in his NFL career.

The source says the Lions have offered a signing bonus that reaches eight figures—$10 million – and they’re waiting to see how the situation will unfold. Schwartz put a full-court press on another former Titan a year ago when he showed up on the door step of defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch(notes) at the outset of free agency. Landing Tulloch would go a long way toward improving a defense that already has a stout line.

I'd rather not.. Give me Ray Edwards, solid WR and maybe a safety. Browns are after some back up CB on the Saints.
Backup safety Usama Young. He's a jack of all trades, master of none.

He can play FS, SS, CB, and is an outstanding special teamer.
