ESPN's John Clayton reports Tarvaris Jackson's contract with the Seahawks will be for $8 million over two years.
In other words, he's getting the same contract Charlie Whitehurst received last season. The two players will stand on equal footing entering training camp. We're giving Jackson the clear edge considering his history with coordinator Darrell Bevell.

Vikes agree to trade 6th rounder in 12 and possibly 6th in 13 to Wash for Donovan McNabb

Pittsburgh reached agreement with veteran cornerback Ike Taylor on a four-year deal.

and

I hear Poz deal in JAX is for $7.5 per and $15 mill guaranteed... which is about a 42 million dollar deal.. not that bad tho. Goodluck for Detroit if they want Tulloch.

Ryan Hill to Minnesota

Guy has a chance to become another Sam Shields. Hill was also a journeyman at Miami much like Shields. Came in as a corner, moved to receiver, then to safety then back to corner during his senior year. Played surprisingly well opposite Brandon Harris. Hill has a chance to be a solid player.

The Lions are making a "hard push" for free agent MLB Stephen Tulloch, according to the National Football Post.
Tulloch knows coach Jim Schwartz from their time together in Tennessee and the Lions may not be sold on DeAndre Levy as a middle linebacker. Tulloch is a thumper that would get plenty of tackling opportunities behind Detroit's impressive defensive line. If Tulloch ends up with the Lions, Levy would likely fill their hole at weak-side linebacker.

Usually everything that guy predicts, the opposite happens, Sidney will probably resign in Minny tomorrow now

FWIW, heard the #Browns and #Lions both interested in former #Bills DL Anthony Hargrove, who's turned life around and won SB with #Saints

Lions were interested in him last offseason and nearly gave up a 3rd rounder for him. He's been one of the few guys I've said won't resign. Somebody is going to give him a nice payday, and I'm happy for him.

I'd rather not.. Give me Ray Edwards, solid WR and maybe a safety. Browns are after some back up CB on the Saints.

Lions resigned Dave Rayner.

And I like Hargrove. Don't really have much room for him though. But the more the merrier lol.

#Patriots reportedly (NY Post) interested in #Jets WR/KR Brad Smith - just how many slot WR's can you field? (h/t @JetsDraft)

NE would be the king of slot recievers

The following RB/WR all can play slot for NE:

Wes Welker
Julian Edelman
Deion Branch
Danny Woodhead
Taylor Price
Shane Vereen
Kevin Faulk (if he comes back)

and Brad Smith? damn
