Mets face the Rangers now. Would be nice to prove we are a decent team by winning a series against them.

i said Ned is an idiot

but I see why he did it. i still dont agree. like i said, could have packaged Santana for someone better like Cliff Lee

remember, Russell was a star back then and still young
and in only 96 games in 2007, Loney was very very good. looked like he would only grow
and his first half of 2008 was very solid as well. they were going to ride it out with him. looked like a definite promising future. scouts looked at him in the same mold as Joey Votto

hasnt worked though. loney has done nothing but regress. sigh

win some lose some
again, we got Andre Ethier for Milton Bradley. it evened out
The comparison of Loney and Votto makes almost no sense lol. Loney was never expected to develop home run power.

Giants put a 3 spot on the board to take the lead, all 3 runs unearned.. Way to go defense

I know excuses are lame and all so i'll just say Thanks Raburn. Didn't lose the game, but it was a big momentum shift.

here's what i meant

in 2007 Baseball America had them ranked 43 and 44
Loney's 07 was great
Santana was traded midway through 08 so Dodgers obviously werent going to give up on loney that quick

Choo being put on the DL.. We might be fielding the worst lineup in the MLB right now.

With two outs, Cord Phelps commits two straight errors, and then Tony Sipp balks.. Awesome team. Now we're gonna lose

JV is such a beast. Once again comes out and throws a gem. 8 innings, 4 hits, 14 strikeouts(career high). Struck out the side after starting the 8th with runners on 2nd and 3rd.

Avila was 3-4, 4 RBI's with a 3 run homer.

at least you guys have an offense > _>
Kemp and Ethier. thats all we have.

dee gordon is slumping/Furcal is always hurt
jamey carroll is a nice player but cmon. he's our 3rd best hitter
loney sucks. better lately, but a singles hitter hitting 5th
uribe blows.
Aaron Miles has a nice batting average, but it's basically the same as his OBP. empty BA. singles hitter anyways. no doubles, ever
Barajas sucks. Navarro sucks. AJ Ellis is an OBP machine, but 0 power at all
LF is a black hole. Gwynn sucks. Oeltjen sucks. Thames sucks.
Casey Blake has been pinch hitting for 2 weeks because he cant field

fuuuuuuuuuck
i know no one cares about the dodgers, but i do. we are in such a winnable division and just flat out suck

no more long dodger posts from me for the year, dont worry :p
just had to get it off my chest
