He's a good pitcher, but we turned him into Sandy Koufax tonight.. I'm honestly sick of watching this team trying to hit major league pitching. I feel as if our Triple A lineup could all be called up together and hit better then the major league team.

We are wasting an amazing season from our bullpen and a solid season from our starters.

First by a game.
If there was any time for us to take the division away, it is now.

cheato dont be mad, Madbum is excellent
he had a fluky start the other day. 8 straight hits to start the game before getting his first out against the pitcher, all leading to runs in his shortest outing. 1 out is all he got. killed his ERA. it would be under 3 if he had a normal start last time out after today

So what, we would get dominated by a Single A pitcher making a spot start on the Astros.

We have a top 30 MLB prospect playing 3rd base (And in Triple A), and our current starter is hitting under .220. Why has he not been called up? Have no clue. Our 2nd best hitting prospect plays 2nd base (also in Triple A), where our starter has the worst range of any 2nd baseman in the MLB, and hits around .240.. We have areas we can fix from within, but for some odd reason, we won't do it. It's frustrating and we are going to be in 3rd place soon.

Look at the bottom 3 in our order for todays game (excluding pitcher):
Shelley Duncan
Lou Marson
Adam Everett
I could even include Sizemore right before Duncan because he is done. Not to mention Orlando Cabrera somehow batting 2nd. None of those guys are MLB starters, and I would argue none are even capable back ups.

And I would love for the Indians to make a trade for someone like Melky Cabrera or any serviceable outfielder but I know the Indians won't do it.. We are in the race for the division, but the entire organization seems like they could care less and were just satisfied with a hot start.

This team has talent, but needs a jolt from any where on offense and simply cannot waste this season. They showed a stat tonight on ESPN. Said that 4 of the Indians relief pitchers are in the top 11 in AL relief ERA and that's excluding Chris Perez who has been great for us as a closer.

/rant (didnt expect the post to be this long lol)

The manager afraid to break up what worked early in the year even though the magic clearly had ended.

Lonnie Chisenhall 2-4 with an RBI in his debut. Did more in this game then Jack Hannahan has done in the last month.

That Leyland ejection cracked me up. I have never seen him that worked up haha. Nice to get the win. Some more runs in the 8th. Nicely done Tigers. Waiting all that time to play the game, don't want to lose it.
