I still remember LeBron's debut against the Kings.

I loved the commercial they did for it, where he freezes up with the ball.

Wasn't Wade drafted a PG as well?
I know that has no relevancy to the conversation, but still.

technically speaking we ALL knew lebron wouldnt ever be a full-time point in this league.
No...that became obvious after his rookie season. LeBron was being described as Magic Johnson with a 40 inch vertical when he was coming out of hs.

Cleveland thought Bron-Ricky-Darius-Booz-Z was gonna be their lineup for a while.

Don't know how you can expect the Pistons to jump that high lol.
Well Philly jumped from tied for 7th to 2nd last year.
So I guess it is either Irving or DWill or bust lol.

You said that lived up to expectations..

Monta if you go by numbers is a All-Star type of guard. And let's keep it real only reason he doesnt play point is because of Steph..and Lou started at point for us last year before Jrue exploded onto the scene towards the 2nd half of his rookie year. And there are times when Lou runs point with Iggy and Jrue in the game.

So out of that list you got 3 starters imo..in Livvy/Monta/Lou..and one bust in bassy.

Why would that stop any team from taking a hs point guard...not to mention none of them have the athletic ability/feel for the game and etc of a Rose/Wall/Kyrie...
Livvy ain't startin to my knowledge. If Monta was a natural PG they would've moved Steph to SG. Lou only started cause ya'll didn't have better options, I don't think any of them get the main focus point of the opposite teams defense aside from Monta.

I'm just saying GM's want a pick they can have some confidence in. If you put High school John Wall, that didn't even win his state championship as far as I know, up against Blake Griffin who is a proven beast at a level with LOADS more talent then the high school circuit. Why would I want the High school player?

College made all those dudes better athletes and players imo

Would have been nice if Boozer wasn't a douche

Livvy was starting in washington last year and only signed to charlotte because he thought he'd get the chance to start.

We didnt have better options..let's keep it real Jrue is one of the top young pg's in the league. That's the only reason Lou isnt starting.

The logic just sounds dumb to me no offense...that's like saying since Kwame Brown busted..you don't take D12 number 1 because of Kwame.

Nah, the PG position isn't a position you choose high school players for. I'm saying High school PGs don't work out, you only named one that starts and he doesn't even start at the PG position. Any other position is a different story. You said John Wall coulda went number 1 out of high school. I'm saying he couldn't because GM's are smarter then that. List the top 5 Pgs in the league right now. Guess how many went to college..

Judging by the players in my list, I'd say only 1 possibly wouldn't have and that'd be D-Rose. Like I said, high school PGs ain't ready for this league. Unless scoring is your strong suit, college is best for em.
