I'd say Carmelo has a good chance of coming here, besides all of the reasons already listed - I think Carmelo likes a rivalry with LeCon, and perhaps coming to NY he can help dethrone the "King".

huh? you need to show me those. we dont say people are coming here, we say who we want and who would help us... nice try to take a stab at me and the pistons fans though.
Yes, Carmelo going to the Knicks is a dream. Its a very realistic option in comparison to the proposed trades that were posted in the official pistons thread.

Oh here we go...now we've got how many years of Knicks' fans getting their hopes up about Melo? You would of thought that banking everything on luring Lebron would of been a lesson.

Its within you're best interests to not bank on it. 3 years of banking on Lebron and this is what happens. And no, I don't think Carmelo Anthony is anymore righteous that any other 21st century athlete...so I won't buy any theories that he wouldn't do what Lebron did.

They're giving him that up front so it is less likely the Jazz match. They did the same thing with Paul Milsap last year but the Jazz matched the offer. Blazers like to <Censored> with the Jazz for some reason lol.

I could understand that for Millsap, he was their backup plan since Booz was leaving, but Matthews?

I havent seem bruh play much in the league, but at Marquette he was a defensive specialist with athletic abilities that allowed him to get to the rim and get his points, but thats not a 9.2mil player.

Id say fck it and let him go....

The Knicks will explore the possibility of trading forward Wilson Chandler, according to a source familiar with the team's thinking.

New York could package Chandler with center Eddy Curry's expiring contract in order to acquire a outside-shooting big man.

Chandler has a contract the Knicks likely will move to be enough under the 2011 salary cap for a maximum contract.
The fck?

A outside shooting bigman?

what about a defensive big? or a player that can create his own shot? and it better be a hell of a deal if we're shedding Curry's expiring and DubC.

He hit nearly 40% of his 3s this year too. He was pretty good for the Jazz this year, but I agree though. He isn't worth that contract yet, he could be in the future.

Im thinking Memo Okur? maybe?

Utah could make him expendable. They have Fesenko and Koufus, and could use Wilson Chandler with Korver and Wes Matthews leaving

Cavs need to pick up Kyle Lowry, he'd fit in Byron Scott's offense.

I had a feeling that Boozer would go to the Bulls...ever since I saw he was a FA.

He said he was going to change his number a while ago, although he said he wanted #6. I have no idea why he picked #9.

I googled it and all the reports were saying that he was switching to 6. Official site says 9...but I remember Miller wore 6 last year. Miller obviously no longer in Washington, but he was a Wizard at the deadline to file for number changes.
