Who says it's wrong to join forces with a pair of fellow All-Stars? Are you saying it's wrong because half of SportzInsomnia says it's wrong? It's a matter of opinion and you know what, ALL who oppose have to get their heads examined.

This site celebrated Boston's "Big 3" back when....but Miami's is being crucified!?!

Competition says its wrong.

Like they said earlier on ESPN when Jordan couldnt beat the Pistons he didnt join them

Im saying its wrong because it kills competition, what fun will the league be when in 5 years the Heat have 4 rings and the same thing happens year after year, the NBA will be no fun

I guess I'm not apart of this site because I said <Censored> the Big 3 from Day 1.

And KG and Ray didn't run to Boston in hopes of winning a title...there is a difference, like it or not
You're a Laker fan, I can't imagine any Laker fan celebrating anything about the Celtics. And yes, they did run to Boston in hopes of winning a title. Why the hell else did KG agree to finally be dealt? If you remember, he wasn't on board with going to Boston until Ray Allen was acquired.

Because I forgot that people can't change their opinions. Your opinion of Kobe didn't change when he raped a girl? What about when Tiger cheated 50 times? C'mon..

AE what are you talking about the look on LeBron has been 50-50 from day one ask cheato I know Ive been critical of his ablility to take over a game, and hit the big shot and develop a "money jumper".

I'm not saying you can't change your opinion. You have to have a reason though. What did Lebron do wrong? He went to the team that offers him a chance to win him a title. Should he apologize for making the logical choice? compare that to legal issues of tiger and kobe?

This is like the greatest paradox our beloved website has ever seen. Anyone notice how every single member's opinion on the guy has done a total 180?
You leave me out of every statement nowadays

If anything, my opinion moved at a 28 degree angle because I never liked the dude and all the media attention he was grabbing caused me to hate him more than any player in the league right now.

You're reaching for some sort of twisted logic that just can't be justified. This unwritten rule you're looking for doesn't exist dez. Lebron's doing whats right for him, right now. If he was in his mid-30's EVERYONE would be talking about how smart of a move this was. For some reason, b/c he's still in his prime...he's owes it to everyone to stay in Cleveland and win a championship by himself.

Jordan was never in the same position as Lebron and I said it last night, Jordan was bigger than the game itself...Lebron isn't on that level, nobody is. Never right to compare Lebron to Jordan and that hasn't changed.

Plus as for being an attention whore, I doubt he was like OMG I WANT A SPECIAL, you know it was probably ESPN that dramatized this everything. ESPN was more like TMZ this past 2 weeks. i bet he was offered everything because he is Lebron James. And with it he did a good thing donating to charity.

Like pm7, my opinion hasn't changed. It has nothing to do with him as a player. IDC where he goes, who he plays with, yadda yadda yadda. I don't like the way he did it and, if anything, that changes how I feel about him as a person. And, up to this point, I've never had an opinion on that.

i havent posted <Censored> here since he made his decision but here is what i have to say.

I agree with all the <Censored> that is posted on him, him being batamn talent but turning into robin is so true. he coulda been considered MJ or Kobe status, but no, now he can be compared to pippen and even f'ing robert horry. thats as far as hes gunna get in the hierarchy of basketball. regardless if he wins 1 title or 5 in miami, he'll leave ringless to me and a hell of a lot of other fans. thats why hell never win in miami, im sure hell get a ring, but he wont win.

Realest <Censored> ever

I don't understand why no one understands why we think of it like that.

Think about it, what spot gives him the best chance to win a title. The same team in Cleveland? The 12 win New Jersey Nets? The Knicks?

The only other logical spot was Chicago, but, Dwade and Bosh > Boozer and Rose

But he's not 30, he's 25 and still in his prime.

He wants to go down as the greatest ever right? How can he be considered the Greatest when you had two other players with HOF potential on your squad?

Either way Bron copped out, best of luck to him family wise, health wise same for wade and Bosh

but fck the Heat, fck Miami. Show me something Donnie...

The fans are more concerned about Lebron's status as a "Batman" or a "Robin", than Lebron is himself. Anyone consider the possibility that the man just isn't as interested in being compared to Kobe and Jordan as some of us are? Compare him to Pippen or Robert Horry all you want and until the season starts, it will hold you over. If Lebron adds 1 championship to his career in Miami, he wins. Nobody wants to go out like a John Stockton or a Charles Barkley...Nobody.

That's an assumption made by you, not something Lebron is gunning for. He wants to win, he said it last night, pretty plain and simple.

Winning is all that he wants to do right now and as far as he's concerned, he's in the best position to do so. Still not seeing where the cop-out is.

A cop-out would be saying all he wants to do is win and then signing with the Nets...or claiming that money isn't everything and then taking the richest contract.

What people are trying to say AE, is if LeBron is going to be considered one of the best to ever play, you think he could win a Championship on his own like the other greats instead of joining two future HOF's to create pretty much a dream team. You're a Yankees fan, so I can see why you have no problem with this...
