Plus as for being an attention whore, I doubt he was like OMG I WANT A SPECIAL, you know it was probably ESPN that dramatized this everything. ESPN was more like TMZ this past 2 weeks. i bet he was offered everything because he is Lebron James. And with it he did a good thing donating to charity.
No player in sports deserves an hour long, which lasted more than an hour, special to say something that takes less than 5 seconds to announce. After he announced what had been leaked out already so it was no surprise at that, what did we learn that we hadn't heard on ESPN or any other <Censored>ing channel or radio station or internet site or even a <Censored>ing dream sequence? It was a dick move and although everyone bought into it. Wade and Bosh had a quick interivew and I can understand that much. And charity? Who cares, that was a decoy to get people to go, "Awww he's doing it for the kids." Well call me a dick or whatever but I say <Censored> those kids and <Censored> Lebron

Lebron is a bandwagoner anyways. We should have known this months ago.

Who says it's wrong to join forces with a pair of fellow All-Stars? Are you saying it's wrong because half of SportzInsomnia says it's wrong? It's a matter of opinion and you know what, ALL who oppose have to get their heads examined.

This site celebrated Boston's "Big 3" back when....but Miami's is being crucified!?!
You can't even begin to compare the two. Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen were both traded by their respective teams to the Celtics for young players and picks. These two are Free Agents trying to create a super-team.

But I have no problem with Bosh. Bosh has been adamant this entire time that he was NOT going to return to Toronto. That's been a known fact for a very long time. Toronto has been a bad team, with no signs of trying to build a contending team now. Why would Bosh stay?

On the other hand, LeBron has played for the NBA's best regular season team the past two seasons, and has failed to win a title. By going to Miami, not only is LeBron betraying his hometown, NOT ONLY is he going back on things he has said in the past, but he's 100% admitting that he can't do it on his own. What's worse is he acts like the fault 100% lies with his teammates in Cleveland, and that there's nothing more he could do. It honestly makes me sick how spoiled, bratty, egotistical, and self-centered LeBron has been. This was a guy that I loved coming into the league, and to see what he's become now makes me want to burn the Cavaliers' LeBron jersey I bought when I was just 10 years old. What's worse is that plenty of kids still look up to this brat, it's pathetic. I've been a Kobe hater for the longest time, but after what LeBron has pulled, my support in Kobe has grown tenfold. So far as to say I would root for the Lakers to win another championship just to see LeBron fail.

What people are trying to say AE, is if LeBron is going to be considered one of the best to ever play, you think he could win a Championship on his own like the other greats instead of joining two future HOF's to create pretty much a dream team. You're a Yankees fan, so I can see why you have no problem with this...
What I am trying to say is let Lebron worry about his own legacy. For the first time in his career, I see the guy making a ton of sacrifice for the greater good of hoisting the trophy. The guy is more of a winner to me today, than he ever was before. He has a dream to be an NBA champion and he's willing to sacrifice everything he's accomplished individually to realize that dream. I can respect what he's doing and at the same time, everyone outside of Cleveland is coming down hard on him for all the wrong reasons.

How is he more of a winner if he's selling his soul and legacy to win?

Also, I don't understand why my reason for coming down hard on him is invalid...
