Why is going to Miami a cop-out? Because they don't play in New York? Or is it because he's actually a better fit for the Bulls? I mean what's the f'ing criteria here?

You guys are all a bunch of hypocrites and seeing how none of you hail from Cleveland, you have no reason to complain.

Because he left... Because he left for a team where he will play robin, along with batman and another robin. Because he said this:

"It’s all about competing, about trying to be the best. It’s also important to me to make the team I’m on now the best. I don’t want to go ring-chasing, as I call it; you know, going to a team that’s already pretty established and trying to win a ring with them. I want to stay with the Cavs and build a champion. And I feel like we’re on our way."

Its a cop out becase he chose to goto a team that already has two established superstars, making his quest for a championship ALoT easier, he doesnt have to burden being the leader or being "the guy" at the end of the game.

And how am I a hypocite for saying he's a cop-out just because Im not from Cleveland? lol I cant have an opinion?

LeCon is somebody who people regard as the best player in the league right now, and one of the best of all time... I heard LeCon say that he doesn't want to have to score 30 points per game any more.. How can a superstar NOT want to be the top dog? This shows he doesn't want to take responsibility and accountability for each and every game, and rather have the flexibility to take a back seat when he doesn't want to try so hard (read: during big games).

I'm hearing the same people who are giving a zillion reasons why he can't win in Miami, also call Miami Lebron's "easiest route to a title".

You're both just pissed he's not a Knick b/c for the past 2 seasons, you've both been so sure that he would be.

The only cop-out is this thread.

I admitted that had he chosen the Knicks, this would probably be different. But with that said, I still have the right to state my thoughts and you taking irrelevant shots at the Knicks and Knicks fans signals to me that you have lost the battle.

Now, explain to me why TYO is against him? What do you say to cheato?

Of course I wanted him in NY, gives us a better chance of winning, why wouldnt I? lol

But just becuase thats what I wanted, doesnt mean he's isnt taking the easiest route possible, and there's nothing wrong with that when your an everyday player, but if want to go down as one of the best of all-time, your not willing to share the spotlight.

Lebron on the other hand, wants to be in the position where if things go wrong, he can turn to DWade and Bosh to take the blame off him.

He was scared of the NY City lights and media, thats why he didnt choose us, Im cool with it, not everyone can handle that.

As I said last night, the only people who should be upset are the Cavs fans because he was homegrown.

But what is being overlooked is funny. For once, a big time athlete didn't take the most money. For once, the top player in the sport is not afraid to say "hey, i need help". He's unselfish. He's not copping out or anything, he went to the best team that offers him a chance to win a title.

As for the special. I thought it was all overdramatic and not needed, but hey, in today pop culture, big is everything. Remember when Obama had that 30 minute ad during the election that was on every channel.

Lost what battle Eric? Your judgment is extremely clouded right now. Even you admit that your bitter about Lebron not picking the Knicks. So how does that sh*t hold any weight in a battle? Again, you're a f'ing hypocrite.

TYO is pissed because the basketball world is shaken. Lebron's image is now destroyed and I know that doesn't sit well with him. Cheato, if anybody, has the right to come up with all the reasons in the world to hate Lebron right now. I found him extremely naive to think that after all this time, Lebron would remain in Cleveland. Either way, I said a lot to him last night. I sympathize with Cleveland but then again, they're going way overboard with their reaction. Hang all your hopes and dreams on 1-man...and this is what happens when that 1-man decides he's tired of it.

^ That's what I'm saying.

And c'mon dez...who the f*ck wants to play for the Knicks? Amare wants a ton of money and he got it. Only Knicks' fans actually see the value in their franchise right now. Everyone else is still laughing them off.

Anyone who thought they had a shot at Lebron will be upset, and rightfully so, he let the media speculate and name EVERY single team as possible destinations. And from day to day it changed from team to team.

He got everyone's hopes up, so we all have a right to be upset even though Cavs fans are truly the biggest losers.

And your right we crucify players for taking taking the money route, but when is it ok to eliminate your competition by joining them? Sht if the Lakers had money would he have signed with them?

If he goes to Cleveland, he's afraid to try something new and he's afraid to leave.
If he goes to Miami, he's only there because of Wade and Bosh, copping out to win his titles.
If he goes to New York, he's in it for the endorsements and to play in the biggest city in the world to be a global icon.
If he goes to Chicago, he's trying to be Jordan.
If he goes to New Jersey, he's in it for the new owner and Brooklyn.

You can go on and on, people are only <Censored>ing because they didn't get the man. No matter what he chose, people would hate. I think everyones just extremely bitter and can't admit it, because they know Miami is the king of the east for the next half decade.

Who says it's wrong to join forces with a pair of fellow All-Stars? Are you saying it's wrong because half of SportzInsomnia says it's wrong? It's a matter of opinion and you know what, ALL who oppose have to get their heads examined.

This site celebrated Boston's "Big 3" back when....but Miami's is being crucified!?!

Yanks is being real as <Censored> about some things, just blowing steam off other things

He can carry a team but he won't. He wants to play "buddy ball". He wants to stack a team and win a championship that way. Oh the <Censored> well. <Censored> him and <Censored> his chances of ever winning a championship. Until they step foot on the court together, or even sign a <Censored>ing deal first, <Censored> everyone saying they're the odds on favorites to win a title because the last time I checked they don't even have enough players to be an NBA team.

<Censored> Lebron

I will say this has hurt his brand. He's pissed off the 2 huge markets. And then when you add to the fact that LA already doesnt like him. Doesnt exactly help his brand.

Meh it goes back to what AE said...this is all the domino effect from the Redeem team.

And Forbes..

Either way we have one of the most loyal fanbases, we'll groan and moan but we'll still be here. Once we get Dolan away from decisions and get him to just spend the money players will flock to NY

I guess I'm not apart of this site because I said <Censored> the Big 3 from Day 1.

And KG and Ray didn't run to Boston in hopes of winning a title...there is a difference, like it or not

Dan Gilbet owns the fathead company, and he changed the prices on all the LeBron fatheads to $17.41. 1741 was the year Benedict Arnold was born. This guy is so boss.

This is like the greatest paradox our beloved website has ever seen. Anyone notice how every single member's opinion on the guy has done a total 180?

I support him and always will until I have a reason to otherwise. The only peoples opinions who should have changed should be Cavs fans. Everyone else, I just don't get honestly.
