oh wow, I really like Aumont, he's Canadian too

I had a feeling he might be apart of the deal
They said he's not part of the deal anymore. They said the center piece of the trade could either be J.A Happ or Kyle Drabek.

Lee + King Felix = godly
That's a sick ass 1-2 punch. The Phillies fans just have to hope that Hammels was as good as he was in 2008 or maybe even better.

Aumont is in the deal, he's going to the Phillies

White Sox acquired Juan Pierre for a couple minor league pitchers; Dodgers taking on about $10.5MM of his remaining salary

Cardinals offer Matt Holliday $16 million for 8 years. A lot of money for a player that I feel is vastly overrated.

From Buster Onley's Twitter: The Red Sox are looking at RHed hitting OFers, utility types, such as Xavier Nady.

I still don't understand why the Phillies are doing that deal. They gave up 4 prospects for Lee, they're giving up another 4 for Halladay and Lee, and the only thing else they get back is 2 prospects. So essentially, 6 good prospects including some very good ones all for Halladay. I guess it's just me but I think Lee is better..

All I really want is Adrian Beltre or Adam LaRoche

Regarding Penny, I would have liked to see the Giants re-sign him, but not to block Sanchez from a spot in the rotation. Sabean indicated that the Giants offered Penny close to what he received from St. Louis, and I never heard from Penny's representatives to confirm this.
I didn't know that. I was kinda mad that they didn't pursue him harder

I'll be happy with Taylor and Drabek
Jays traded Taylor for Brett Wallace. The dude could be ready for next season and play in third base. Encarnation is garbage.
I hope Drabek starts for the Jays next season. I don't think he'll be ready but it's kinda exciting.

The A's are poised to trade highly touted third base prospect Brett Wallace to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for outfielder Michael Taylor, a source confirmed to the Bay Area News Group.

But first, other pieces must fall into place regarding the blockbuster three-way trade that would send pitcher Toronto ace Roy Halladay to the Philadelphia Phillies and Phillies lefty Cliff Lee to the Seattle Mariners.

Taylor, a top-rated prospect for Philadelphia, would first have to be shipped to Toronto as part of that deal before being flipped to Oakland for Wallace
The Halladay trade is not official yet so this isn't official.

Yes! Wallace is a fat ass so I never saw him making a big impact in the Bigs unless it's as DH or maybe 1st. Don't know much about Taylor but he's a top rated prospect so it can't be much of a downgrade potential wise.

Well. It says on his scouting report that "he's a good athletic guy stuck in a bad body" or something like that. I don't really mind him but damn Michael Taylor would have been an awesome lead off leader if the Jays didn't trade him. Well it's not official yet so ya.

EDIT:
Blue Jays have had their eye on Wallace for some time -- he was originally selected by the Jays in the 42nd round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft -- and the club would likely shift him from third to first base.
NVM about the 3rd base thing then.

Yeah, most scouts predicted he'd eventually be moved to 1B or DH.

Maybe because the Yankees always sign them.

BTW, I don't think Alex Anthopoulos has hit puberty yet lol.
