No, it was Padilla's fault for pelting Tex twice. In fact I would like to personally thank Padilla for getting the Yankees fired up to score 7 runs in the fourth. Teixeira is that player the Yankees have been missing for a while, someone who plays with a lot of fire and passion and isn't afraid to let it show.
Yea but atleast Padilla didnt go for the head, Burnett could kill a guy pitching like that.

It's in the past now. AJ did the right thing having his team's back like that. Veras needs one more strike to make the Yankees 17-4 in the last 21 games.

EDIT: Game over. Yankees now with the best record in the AL, and second best in MLB. Yankees and Rays are tied for most runs scored in MLB at 300 and only the Tigers and Dodgers have a greater run difference than the Yankees.

Ugh, came back from down 4-0 in the 8th to make it 4-3, Francisco nearly gave us the lead in the 9th with a homer but it was caught near the warning track. And Cabrera is probably gone for a while too, terrible night.

Cliff Lee pitches tomorrow, so time for the offense to take a nap.

WOW, Dodgers <3

DBacks score in the 1st, then in the 2nd Justin Upton hits a GS and its 5-0
Ethier homers in the 2nd so its 5-1
Quiet until the eight. bases loaded and my homie James Loney hits a bases clearing double.
then Casey Blake hits a single to score the winning run

Vin Marazzo pitches 6.1 innings, allows 3 hits and no runs in his major league debut and gets the win 5-0.
Cust hit the ball well as usual, and went deep.
Holliday is finally starting to hit the ball like he has in the past.
We still suck.

Tigers lost, which I figured as much playing Boston. We almost came back though, had bases loaded with noone out in the 9th, but that`s just asking too much against Papelbon, who struck out the side after that.

Porcello only went 4.1 innings, and Perry let up 2 runs in 1 inning. So, all and all, it was not a good day for us.

As for other news, I saw Halladay put up a career high 14 K`s, and recorded his 9th win on the season. That put a smile on my face.
