No, it was Padilla's fault for pelting Tex twice. In fact I would like to personally thank Padilla for getting the Yankees fired up to score 7 runs in the fourth. Teixeira is that player the Yankees have been missing for a while, someone who plays with a lot of fire and passion and isn't afraid to let it show.

He is great defensively but he gets lost at the plate. Swings at everything and tries to go deep. Needs to just get the ball on the ground and let his speed do the work.

Jeter is absolutely on fire at the plate recently, a 16 game hit streak, ans is 3-3 tonight with a BA of .321.
