I think Brand really planned on re-signing, but realized he really doesnt have a whole lot longer in this league, and even with Baron, the Clippers still wouldnt beat the Lakers or Spurs in a 7game series.

Plus the 76ers threw more money at him, you reall cant blame the guy for wanting to win and at the same time getting more money.

As for Baron, idk if he said he was going to re-sign (I think he did) but his move was a little bit more backstabbing then Brands.
