He definently has a better chance of winning in the East

If he does leave the Clippers, Baron Davis will be pissed im sure.

He leaves Golden St. to go to a less talented team for less money lol

well Baron doesnt have to sign. He just gave them an agreement. He could easily change his mind.
technically he's still on the market

Didnt Boozer agree to re-sign with the Cavs and then bolted to Utah?

Booz said he only opted for FA to get a better deal from the Cavs.
He did say he was gonna re-sign, but then threw a curveball

We basically got him

In a dramatic ending to a whirlwind courtship, Elton Brand is on the brink of spurning the Los Angeles Clippers and signing a five-year, $80 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, a source familiar with the negotiations said.

THanks God for Stefanski! its on now. Teams better be scared now

Elton Brand has reached a verbal agreement to sign a multiyear contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to an NBA source who requested anonymity because he is not authorized to speak on player movements.

The deal is believed to be in the $80-million range and expected to span five years

yea due to Philly signin Brand dey won't have the money to get Smith or Childress. No other team has the money to provide a better contract than we can because, we can offer five years but everyone else can just offer 4. ( from what I read)

They still have enough. Thats why they traded Carney, so they could go after more FA's.

Carney was to sign Brand to a 90M deal I heard. IDK but the Joshes are staying in Hotlanta.
