I could definitely see Blake making a run at it, maybe a Chicago Bull once they're a 60 win team again. (Noah, Rose, Anthony?!)

Process of Elimination:
Rondo
Harden
Howard
Noah
Rose
Love
Irving
Lillard
Aldridge
Kobe
Wall

That leaves:
Anthony
Davis
George
Curry
Paul
Griffin

I'd probably say I could see Paul or Griffin winning it as early as next season. Get more healthy seasons from Chris Paul, JJ Redick, etc. Break 60 wins. I think Paul would receive the award before Griffin.

I want to say Anthony Davis but I'm not sure the Hornets/Pelicans ever get to the elite level

They won't be that good in the near future, but give it a few years and it's possible. Maybe like four years down the line.

They'd have to build an almost completely new core around him

So I chose AD, but Chris is reaaaaaally close

I just think KD and Bron got it on lock and chris will be too old

It will then AD's time

If Rose stays healthy the whole season and is good and the Bulls are good, then Rose.

Wherever Melo goes, if that team is a #1. Melo.

If the Mavs go top 3. Dirk or Monta.

LA is a huge favorite.

But I'd say CP3

Honestly can't see any of them winning it right now. So I went with other, will probably be someone who's not in the league currently.

Gun to my head though, I'd say Blake or Paul.

That was a different time. People didn't focus on defense as much back in, there wasn't all the fancy statistics and such to keep track of them. Not to mention the league was different, teams didn't have the defensive systems they have now.
