I saw this thread on PSD and I thought it would make for a decent discussion.  If not, fuck it.

I can't wait for someone to vote for AI haha

I don't think you can answer LeBron given that he didn't win a title until 2012 and didn't even become an all-star until about half way through this decade.

For me it came down to Bryant vs. Duncan and I went with Duncan

I want someone to go through all of Shaq's game tape and count how many offensive fouls he should have been called for. It has to be in the thousands.

I voted Duncan.

Meanwhile I picked Kobe, who made 6 NBA Finals appearances, and was midway through the season where he won his most recent title, but doesn't count since 2009-10 credits towards the next decade (either that or the 1999-2000 title for kobe doesn't)

the number of fouls vs shaq that went uncalled would probably outweigh his offensive fouls..

i remember seeing something where they said shaq was fouled in the 100s per game that went uncalled.

When you dish it out so often, you're going to get it back, too. The dude played bulldozer in the paint and never should have been allowed to do so.

Shaq literally could have shot 500 free throws a game if the refs called every foul he took

And he could have fouled out in under 10 minutes of gameplay, too. It goes both ways. Shaq did not deserve more calls.

youre insane. half of the team would have been fouled out before shaq would have fouled out.

He was the best player in the league starting in 2005, and continued to be for the rest of the decade. Quality over quantity

If you change 2005 to 2008 than sure

And I'm not sure he was even the best player by then
