Good thing it doesn't matter. When they want to sleep on a couch in their office while working 100 hours in the week like Mike Pettine will, then it will matter.
Not the point. Hoyer is very average. While Manziel is obviously unproven, there is no reason to sit him. Not as if we're trying to, or he's even capable of being molded into a pocket passer with amazing footwork. He's a playmaker who is going to use his legs. Again, no reason to sit him to learn from QBs who play nothing like him.
As I think about this more, I'm surprised that the players themselves wouldn't prefer Hoyer more than the fans, media and coaching staff do. I can't imagine snorting coke and being late to meetings is endearing to some eight year veteran lineman.
Sure, I'll give you that one. We still don't know if it was a one time thing or not though. Who knows except Johhny.
I think the veterans see though how guys like RG3, Kap, Wilson etc. have added life into their respective teams as young guys and may want a little excitement. Who knows.
