I remember his prime, before Houston could put any real pieces around him. He was unstoppable, a better defender than most realized, could dish when necessary, and showed up on a nightly basis. It was something else.i think we had a big discussion on tmac a while back. had he never had those injuries we may have been seeing him at the top of the league for best player and potentially holding scoring records much like kobe.
Had he and Yao stayed healthy the year that Artest was with the team, I think they'd have won the title, and they might have done had just Yao stayed healthy. What's scary about the NBA, sometimes, is looking back and realizing how good some teams really were, if they didn't have devastating injuries.
