i think we had a big discussion on tmac a while back. had he never had those injuries we may have been seeing him at the top of the league for best player and potentially holding scoring records much like kobe.
I remember his prime, before Houston could put any real pieces around him. He was unstoppable, a better defender than most realized, could dish when necessary, and showed up on a nightly basis. It was something else.

Had he and Yao stayed healthy the year that Artest was with the team, I think they'd have won the title, and they might have done had just Yao stayed healthy. What's scary about the NBA, sometimes, is looking back and realizing how good some teams really were, if they didn't have devastating injuries.

Anyway, one thing I've always found funny about Vince Carter is that he thought he was the shit back in Toronto when there was a better player on the roster in TMac.

i think looking back at certain teams and players is much more fun to think of in the nba, rather any other sport.

I hated Carter with a passion during his time with the Nets. I swear he always tried his hardest against us and he always hit clutch shots when playing us. Game winners too. I honestly miss that championship winning Pistons team the most if we're talking about old teams. And the 76ers with AI.

In T-Mac's last season in Toronto he got more than enough minutes to show that he was better than Vince and Vince still significantly outplayed him...
