Carmelo Anthony is planning to meet with the Chicago Bulls in Chicago on the opening day of free agency after the NBA's offseason market officially opens Tuesday at 12:01 a.m., according to sources familiar with Anthony's plans.
Wouldn't come close to challenging any team in the West in the Finals if they could even get last Indiana, which Id doubtPepe Silvia said:The Bulls were a 4 seed led by fucking Joakim Noah. Add melo to that, and anything out of Rose pushes that team into 1 seed contention in the east.

and Houston wouldn't come close to making it out of the west, so what the hell is the difference?
Pacers aren't a threat to anybody.
but what about mcbuckets then?Pepe Silvia said:Edited it before you posted to make it not as extreme.
Woodson would iso Melo at the end of games 10/10 times. It didn't go too well.BwareDWare94 said:
Oh, the head scratching hate continues .
It depends on what you think is better for Melo, at this point in his career. In Houston he could move without the ball a little more for 3 and a half quarters and not have such constant pressure on him.. Obviously, they'd iso him over Harden at the ends of games because it's dumb to iso anyone not named Melo when you have Melo. I hate Iso, but McHale seems unwilling to do anything else at the ends of games.
At the same time, Chicago offers more chemistry among their current group and a much, much better head coach. If Rose is at least still a good player, the Bulls would be a real threat with Melo.
Small price to pay to sign a top 10 playerPepe Silvia said:

All this being said, I'm not even sure if I want Melo. Bulls only have about 11 million to spend. If they get him, it probably means Taj is done in Chicago, and I don't want that.
