Braves and padres are talking Kemp. I imagine another contract would go back to the Padres.

White Sox have been heavily scouting the Sox A, AA and AAA games. Not apparently willing to meet asking prices tho.

the reports are saying Padres are likely to release him...they are saving 5M this year and i believe 13-15M the next 2 years on this deal

I don't hate it. I've been keeping up with Mejia since he was 17 so it's bittersweet to see him go but honestly we got some good value.
