Browns are more underrated than overrated
Can't be right, NOLA is never wrong...Browns are more underrated than overrated
I've been listening to podcasts and some people are giving the Browns 10-11 wins.Even if people say the Browns will win 7 or 8 games, I still don't see how that would constitute them being overrated. Yes, Colt McCoy's pre-season has put the Browns as an 8 win team in some peoples mind alone (which shouldn't), but they have a lot more young talent that should improve other then Colt.
Don't see how it wouldn't be possible.... :unsure:I've been listening to podcasts and some people are giving the Browns 10-11 wins.
Aren't you the one who just closed a thread for "baiting." Some mod you elected SI.Can't be right, NOLA is never wrong...
It has nothing to do with baiting or people hating you, it has to do with everyone knowing Josh McCown is a pedestrian QB.Can't have a good god damn threaad on SI anymore without baiting and everybody's hate toward somebody.
I haven't seen anyone put them above 8 wins and 3rd in the division.I've been listening to podcasts and some people are giving the Browns 10-11 wins.
I'll try and see if I can find the podcasts or find a transcript or something like that.I haven't seen anyone put them above 8 wins and 3rd in the division.
And you know what you're talking about? His fucking name is Luke, not Josh.. :thumbsup:Aren't you the one who just closed a thread for "baiting." Some mod you elected SI.
And because you went there, I'll say this:
It has nothing to do with baiting or people hating you, it has to do with everyone knowing Josh McCown is a pedestrian QB.
Luke? Josh? Who cares, they are both career backups. And you know what you're talking about? His fucking name is Luke, not Josh..
Garrard and Luke are both pedestrian.. thats all im saying, Im not saying Luke is ZOMG.. but its not a step back, you would know this if you actually fucking paid attention..
I feel like alot of the time your season depends on the start you have.Well at worst they could obviously be under .500 but the schedule sets up for a hot start and maybe carry momentum into those last 4 games against pitt and baltimore.
Saw a whole lot more from Luke in 18 preseaon attempts this year, last year, than Garrard this year..Luke? Josh? Who cares, they are both career backups.
I have been paying attention, the only thing I've heard you say is "he looked great in camp" when everyone knows training camp is a crap shoot. You know who else looked great in camp? Reggie Bush.
Did you see something special from McCown in his 18 preseason attempts?
Teams have went 0-2, 0-3, and made playoffs. Bills in 04 started 0-4 IIRC and came very close to playoffs.I feel like alot of the time your season depends on the start you have.
In 07 the Saints went into Indy and got their asses handed to them and lost their next three games. But in 09 we got out to a hot start and won the Super Bowl.
Gabbert isn't ready yet, McCown has the experience.. What don't you see?I see no point in having Luke at all.
The team will win just as much with McCown as Gabbert, so why not just start the rookie? McCown=Gabbert right now, and Blaine will be better pretty soon (by like week 3).
Just start Gabbert
it's the exception, not the rule. If the Bills didn't start 0-4 they wouldn't have had to worry about barely missing the playoffs. It's a whole lot easier to put yourself in the drivers seat early. MOST of the time if you come out struggling to a 0-3 or 0-4 record you probably will not make the playoffs, and even if you do you will have used up so much just getting there.Teams have went 0-2, 0-3, and made playoffs. Bills in 04 started 0-4 IIRC and came very close to playoffs.
Its not how you start, its how you finish..
Jags started strong last year, and the year before that.. and bummed in december and missed the playoffs.
What rookie QB is ready to start? It's part of the learning curve.Gabbert isn't ready yet, McCown has the experience.. What don't you see?
