nola, I'm curious. What do you see as the main problems with the Pelicans? Because they should be better than this. 
 
Just as an outsider, I'd say they lack a true #2 option next to Davis. Evans, Jrue, and Ryan are all above average scoring options, but ideally they aren't guys you trust as a second option. I posted it the other day, but I think Jrue shoots too much as is anyway for his talent level, and doesn't look for Davis enough. The post defense is shockingly bad. 

No depth past 6th man.

Now, only 3 of those have come against over .500 teams, and one of those teams was missing a star player, but that's irrelevant.
