I'd say it defines a portion of his career, the portion where he's without a dominant big man. 30+ shots a game, 35+ losses. Probably 50+ losses, this season.
 
It's not that he's just without the big man, this year. He's without much of anything. Jordan Hill might be playing out of his mind, but it isn't helping much.
