bosox was clearly giving some guys too much credit but you went back and down played other guys for reasons you could say about Jones

Bosox didn't even mention the best bench players in the league. Crawford, Anderson, Gibson, etc.

Handful of players not on his list better than T.Jones.

I counted 33 guys that I would say Jones is just as good if not better then in bosox list. That's terrible.

Olynyk is definitely better than Jones offensively, and Jones' defenisve numbers are slightly better than they should due to Dwight

And again, like I said to start off with,

i compared them in a "if I did Jones for _____ straight up trade, would it be fair?" situation
Boston would not trade Olynyk for Jones. Houston wouldn't necessarily get better (although Olynyk would help a ton with his mid-range), but it would not help Boston one bit

And also, read the full statement BWare. Clearly you wouldn't take Randle over Jones right now, but the Lakers wouldn't trade Julius for TJ at all

while i don't like tjones either, he's better than you're giving him credit for, and better than some guys you said were better. that list is personal opinion and yours is slightly bias.

I don't think any board on the web has held more discussions about Terrence Jones than this one.

So Jimmy Butler is probably gonna get the max eh? If he sustains his stats.

at what skills?

Jones:
Shot blocking
On ball defense
Not fouling
Rebounding

Olynyk:
Floor spacing
Inside scoring
Outside scoring
Passing
Running the fast break
Having beautiful hair

I'd rather have Olynyk's in Boston's system

Floor spacing and shooting is essentially the same thing. Jones is far more athletic with a greater upside.

I don't think they're even comparable. One's clearly better than the other. Jones' impact for Houston is invaluable when you compare it to how terrible Donatas Motiejunas has been and how terrible the team has been since TJones got hurt. His lack of a shot isn't hurting Houston because he's such a tenacious rebounder that he gets quite a few offensive boards. There's also a little known fact about TJones--he's got plenty of post game, but so rarely sees the floor sans Dwight that they obviously aren't going to give post up opportunities to him.

Terrence Jones is a very effective player even though Houston, by design, minimizes him. He's a better player in a different uniform, and he absolutely would make Boston a better team.

That being said, this is a pot meet kettle argument. Let's move on.

What did Cousins do last night that was such a bitch move?

Only would a Pelicans player come back after missing two games only to re-aggravate an injury during pregame warm ups.
