I'm guessing Williams is going to be spitting time with Tolliver?

For individual players its worthless because it doesn't take into account who you play with. That problem obviously does not exist when comparing a 5 man lineup.

And I don't think it tells a lot or anything as the Cavs are on an unsustainable hot streak, it's just a fun comparison given the game discrepancy.

The game discrepancy isn't beneficiary to the hawks. It gives them more time to regress to the mean. If you wanted to compare the hawks' +/- during their streak to the Cavs' during theirs, then that would be more relevant

Poster at a Cavs site:
From 11/28-1/31, Atlanta won 33 out of their 35 games.

Their best 5 man unit during that span was +121 in 27 games. They had a 110.4 ORtg & a 96.6 DRtg (+13.8)

Since 1/15, we've won 16 out of our 18 games.

Our best 5 man unit during this span is +119 in 15 games. They have a 119.7 ORtg & a 92.7 DRtg (+27.0)

If the Pistons and Pacers grab those last 2 spots in the East, all 5 teams from the Central division will be in the playoffs. That would be something hah.

So strange seeing Tayshaun in a Pistons uniform again though.

NBA needs to do something about the Hack a Shaq problem. I say take something from football and give coaches the opportunity to "accept or decline" the foul.

Treat them like a technical IMO. Fouling an off ball player shouldn't be a thing unless it's an accident like a screen.

Someone really needs to hit up Blatt and ask him why James Jones keeps getting minutes at PF.

Probably won't happen, but why not just play Jennings and Jackson together next year?

By together you mean what? I'd love it if BJ would buy into a 6th man role.

Wouldn't Jackson be the 6th man? Jennings is clearly the superior distributor.

I mean, Stan told him when he traded for him that he would be given the reins to the team. Assuming we resign him to a long deal, I don't imagine making him our 6th man would make too much sense.

Tayshaun does have a bit left in the tank. Does not move around on the court like a nearly 35 year old. Definitely wouldn't say he is on his last legs though.

After one quarter, Westbrook on pace for 36/24/16

Will he do it?
