The Thunder might be the only team to ever break up a core that would trade a superstar for financial reasons.  If you put your bottom line before winning championships you are a terrible owner.

There is a big difference between the word can't and won't.

I think you need to wise up and learn more about the financials of running a sports franchise. This isn't 2K.

I think Durant would be crazy to leave. OKC has and has had enough to win for awhile already.

Truth is Kevin has shrunk in some big monments.

he's right though. Teams don't break up a superstar core for luxury tax reasons. That was absurd cheapness.

It's not like they just gave him away. First of all, they had a better record without him. But back to my original point, they got a first round pick that was SUPPOSED to be top 5 before the raptors overachieved, a plug in piece in Kevin Martin who played very well for them, and Lamb who was supposed to be a big prospect. In hindsight it doesn't look great but if Westbrook doesn't go down that year, I'm pretty sure they had the best record in the NBA. Could be wrong though

Also, no one thought Harden would be this good at the time.

Wiggins torching LeBron, which is ironic since LeBron is the reason he isn't here.

These damn Rockets announcers "I Don't know why Josh Smith is getting booed. Detroit gave him that contract. He hasn't done anything wrong"

They're sitting here kissing his ass. "Josh has been a model citizen his whole career. He's been a very fine player and he's getting booed because of it" Like are we suppose to give him a standing ovation for his time as Piston? His bad outweighs the good lol.

he isn't a trouble player off the court by any means and people say he's a bad locker room guy but ive never read anything bad about him. he's not even "selfish", he's just not as good as his name is? idk, it's hard to explain. obviously his contract absolutely sucked and he does deserve to be booed lol
