So if you want to know how far the East is behind the West....

It took a miracle night from Mirotic for a high end East team to even have a legitimate shot against a high end West team.

LOL

Without Rose and Gibson

It works both ways though.  Without the miracle night from Draymond Green a couple weeks ago, the Bulls beat the Warriors.

The East is weak, but at least two of the high end east teams can compete with anyone in the west.

There is a good player inside Jrue Holiday somewhere.  I still think that Monty is a bad coach.

Imagine the Pellies had pre-injury Gordon?  I can't believe just how bad he is now.

I think Jrue took a while to get going this season but he's really started to pick it up.  Since week two of the season he's been averaging 16 pts, and 7 asts a night.  There's only eight guards this season averaging 15+ points and 7+ assists a night not named Jrue Holiday.  Chris Paul, Steph Curry, Kyle Lowry, Jeff Teague, John Wall, Ty Lawson, and MCW.  I'd say that's good company.  He's also better defensively than the majority of those guys.

Every early Spurs loss is incalculably valuable. To the rest of the West. To NBA fans who don't want to see the same old same old shit. To the end of an already-too-long era.

Props to a smaller market for being so dominant for so long, but it's just as tyrannical as big market domination. It's time for a new regime, or a new level of parity the league has never seen before.
