I jinxed it
Right? Especially with how we have played as of late, 5-2 in our last seven and really should be 6-1 because we should have snapped Golden States win streak. This is a good team that's starting to come together, led by a top 3 player in the game.snipezo said:That's a bit of an overreaction.
Pelicans arent a shitty team by any means. Plus there's not a lot you can do when Davis is on his game like that.

He'll replace Bass as our backup big next to Olynyk, as Zeller and Sully are the starters. He might end up starting at C too over Zeller, since we have no rim protection on this teamPepe Silvia said:What kind of role will Wright have in Boston? I've always wanted to see how he does with an expanded role. Dude has always been lights out in a severely limited amount of minutes.

anywhere from $13M to $28M towards 2016
2016 Celtics Draft Picks:
BOS 1st
BKN 1st
CLE 1st (Top 10 protected)
DAL 1st (Top 7 protected)
BOS 2nd
CLE 2nd
MIA 2nd
PHL 2nd
This is the year the cap is projected currently to jump to about $91.2M, which means the Celtics, before the draft, would have almost $60M in cap space. Add in a top pick in 2016, a potential good pick from Brooklyn, and 2 late 1sts, with 4 second rounders, and the Celtics have mad assets to use.
Notable 2016 FAs (potentially):
Kevin Durant
Lebron James
Chris Paul
Dwight Howard
Kevin Love
Mike Conley Jr
Joakim Noah
Al Horford
Demar DeRozan
Al Jefferson
Goran Dragic
Nic Batum
I'm not saying at all that Boston will end up with all of these guys, and win a title in 2017. But Ainge has it beautifully set up, where he can have Marcus Smart, two other Top 10 picks (2015,2016), plus maybe another if Brooklyn sucks next year be a nice young core, and it would be an attractive place for free agents to come to. Most likely, this goal will fail poorly. But it has a really high upside
