Jonas had some nice finishes off the roll.  Once he gets more comfortable catching on the roll, going up strong, he's gonna be a force.  I'd love to see him take those 15 footers rather than pump fake.  Shoots 80% at the line, he can manage that shot

He has pieces to his game, I wish our coach would just play him 35 minutes every night so he can figure things out.. even if it costs us a few games.
As a fan who saw his team's former great Center lose his career during his prime due to foot problems, it's never a bad idea to limit Lurch's minutes.

Granted, everybody's different. JV may be at no risk it. Just a thought.

Rose has now started and finished six games in a row.

and he only really sucked in one of those games.

I said the same thing, but look at his per 36 numbers through his career.  You'll probably be surprised.

Watching the Wiggins highlights from last night, against a good Portland team, is definitely encouraging.  I'm glad Flip is finally just letting him play.  He's going to fuck up a lot, but he's also going to have games where he has a huge impact on both ends of the court.  Two really solid games the last 2 vs. some of the best in the West.

If he dials in, and really works on his game, he's going to be really good.  Hopefully these lasts 2 games give him confidence to know he's not in over his head in the NBA.

I think the mechanics on his shot are really good, and his pull-up jumper looks really solid.  He really has all the tools to be a really good NBA player.  He's shooting 38% from 3 too, which is really good.  He is already averaging over 4 FTA per game, which will likely only continue to go up.

The best thing Minny can do is play him 35 minutes every night and help him try and figure it out.  Minny has a lot of players like Martin, Pekovic, Thad, etc. they might be able to get a young role player for.  They should be playing Muhammed, Wiggins, Bennett, Lavine, etc. unconditionally and see what they have.  I can't believe they signed Rubio to that, that is going to set them back big time in a year or two.

I posted it a while ago but him going to Minnesota was the best thing for his career. If he stayed with the Cavs he would never be handling the ball, and that's the weakest part of his game. He needs to work on it in game with no restrictions and no thought of fucking up a win with a potentially great team. The Cavs would have stunted his growth.

I think in Cleveland he was going to be Pippen-lite, playing off the ball for the next half decade.  I think he would have been really good at it, just due to his personality and passiveness.  You're right though, he definitely wouldn't have the opportunity to become a star.  I think Cleveland moving him was inevitable, because he's not going to be able to help a team win a championship for at least the duration of his rookie deal.

I think he has it in him to be a star.  He has all the tools, my only concern is I think it is going to take a great coach/environment to get him there.  Saunders is an idiot.  If he was on Atlanta, I would have a lot more faith.  That's why I think college was a huge waste of time for him, I don't think his game improved at all in that year.

It'll be interesting to see where he winds up.  If he's closer to Rudy Gay, or closer to someone you can win 50 games with as your best/co-best player.  At the very least, I think he will be an all-NBA wing defender before his rookie contract is up.  He's already wreaking havoc some nights.

It's crazy that Anthony Davis won't win the MVP this year.  If he keeps this up he might have the best PER ever.  I know the stat isn't really relevant but it still does a good job of capturing a guys boxscore in a single number.  For reference, KG's MVP season was about 3.5 points lower than Davis right now.

My biggest concern right now is a generational talent is going to rot with a mediocre roster similar to the LeBron-Mo Williams years.  The difference is in the West you can't win 50-60 games with good role players every year.  They're just about capped out too, unless Gordon magically opts out after this year.

Durant 2016 is the only thing I'd have my eyes on if I am the GM of the Pellies.
