I haven't watched much of the last two games, but everytime I see Curry defending Russell he's doing a great job. Easily the teams best option to defend him, but then you are likely hurting him offensively.

That's what I highlighted the most in that post a few weeks back. Great instincts, ability to move his feet, smart defender like you said. A lot stronger than he looks which helps him get around screens and push defenders off their spot.

I said hes not a great defender to nolas post. He guards andre most of the game anyway. If he was so good hed be on him all game. Even waiters was taking him to town somewhat

He's not going to be on him most of the game regardless of how good he is because chasing Westbrook around is going to hurt him when it comes to the offensive end.

I can't believe you managed to spin this in a way to bash Curry. Just give props where it's due

He was still the League MVP. I don't agree with people who act like he shouldn't have won MVP just because of what he's done in the Finals. There's MVP and then there's Finals MVP. 2 different things and he definitely deserved League MVP. Besides, anyone else who was in consideration got eliminated already so they can't be argued over Steph anyway.

It's almost like the MVP is a regular season award or something

He was in foul trouble. His team won by 30. Curry's play isn't a concern.

He doesn't need to exert himself because the team is winning no matter what so far. If the game was actually close, he'd try and put up the stats like he did in games 5-7 against OKC (31/6/7, 31/9/10, 36/8/5)

Dude, I don't get how you don't understand what everyone is trying to tell you. Nobody is saying Steph is playing like the MVP he was in the past two games. But to discredit Curry's record breaking regular season MVP because the Warriors bench is obliterating the Cavs is just short minded. He looked like the MVP in Gms 5-7 of the WCF for sure
