1, if they kept Baron they would have won more games, lowered their chances at #1 even more. then they would be stuck with the #11 pick and Baron. ugh
2, keeping baron would have made it difficult to keep DeAndre, especially with Kaman still on payroll
IMO, the Clippers are borderline playoffs next year(i have them in). there's a chance they make the playoffs and then get a top 3-5 pick (from Minnesota of all teams. i think we all agree their chances at a high draft pick will be great). not a bad trade man. you're overreacting because it was #1.
again, they dont absolutely need Kyrie and Derrick Williams would have been a great add, but they still have Aminu and will add a SF this offseason
