Nola, did I forget to do the overrated offseason question? I'll gladly write something up quick, if so.

You scratch out Pels like Anthony Davis is the only good player we have...

Considering we have AD we're deeper than some of the teams you listed above.
it was a joke for the most part

AD goes down and you aren't making the playoffs. and you know that lol

I think that could be said for a lot of teams though.

Though I think I could also argue that a lot of teams wouldn't be replacing their best player with a player of Ryan Anderson's caliber either.

People forget or just don't know, but he was averaging 20 a game before his injury.  Losing AD would hurt, but I think the Pelicans would deal with it better than most teams if they lost their best player.

I'm not saying the Rockets will miss the playoffs but it's not at all that unlikely considering how tough the West is

1-3: San An, Clipps, Thunder
4-5: Dubs, Blazers
6. Memphis

Thats very reasonable predictions there.

Then, personally I take Dallas 7, and either the Pels, Rockets, or Nuggets(if shaw steps up his coaching game) get the 8.

Your first 5 is right. Not sure Memphis is locked in by any means. Pelicans and Mavericks will both make it. Also don't sleep on PHX

Hell I'm not even sure you can lock GS and Portland in

West after the top 3 is wide open

Too much went right for them last season, and like I've stated in the past they weren't as good as their record indicated.

Started out 31-9 on that unreal shooting streak, but finishes something like 23-19.

I've got the Pels as 4th seed behind the Clips and ahead of the Mavs

Dunno why I said that though, as I have the Clippers as the 1 seed this year

That prediction is too dependent on AD playing 82 games. I definitely think they're going to make the playoffs but I can't go that high
