It's pretty interesting that this source thinks the Eagles would absolutely pounce on him. I can't imagine a team not being a little cautious if Fat Albert did become a FA.A source with knowledge of the situation tells the Philadelphia Sports Daily that the Redskins will not release Albert Haynesworth quickly after the lockout.
"They are not going to cut him," the source said. "If the Eagles or anyone else wants him it is going to have to be by trade. Because if they cut him, that’s giving him his way." It's no secret that the division rival Eagles would pounce all over Haynesworth if he became a free agent. Washington may end up holding onto Haynesworth for all of August if its trade demands aren't met.
