Do you know which plays they've ran? Mooche has said that Flacco has had people going downfield and running other routes on his checkdowns.. some screens have other positions running routes too.
Some screens do, but the back is always the first option on a screen. When I watch the Ravens, and they are on regularly on CBS, I see them try and get the ball into Rice's hands on screens. As far as single back, they may do it more often than most. The Saints for example do it with Reggie and Pierre, and the other backs we've had like Deuce, Stecker, and Betts.

What Mooche is trying to say though, I believe, is that Flacco (unlike your top QB's who all have backs with high reception numbers) goes to the checkdown too quick. With Flacco it's hut, look at #1 option, he's not open, checkdown. Not look at #1, then #2, then #3, then checkdown. Your top QB's (Brady, Manning, Brees) look at ALL of their options before checking down.

Its funny, because yesterday on ESPN, when talking about Reggie Bush.. they showed alot of Drew Brees checkdowns then.

How do you know what option he is on a certain play?

Your either a liar or a dumbass. They showed three plays.

1- A slip screen. Reggie was obviously the first option.
2- A 20 yard reception. Reggie was lined up as a receiver.
3- A draw. Reggie carried the football.

Where's the checkdowns? :headsmack:

Why do you care if they're check downs or not? Gaining yards is gaining yards..

I care because I want my QB making the proper reads with the football. If he isn't even scanning his primary receivers on the play, you may pick up a 6 yard gain with a checkdown but you might miss a 20 yard pass down field. You tell me which one you would rather prefer.

Bush and Miami makes sense...perhaps he will take his talents to South Beach and announce on a big 2 hour ESPN special...

I'm hesitant to believe that Bush can be successful outside of New Orleans' system. Somebody's gonne waste some bucks on him. That's all we know.

Because you can see a QB go through his reads?
How can you see him go through his reads if you claim that he is just checking it down without looking at them? Which one is it?

I would rather not have anymore weird sociopaths on the Dolphins. Went through the Ricky Williams shit long enough.
