I'm just saying, if he plays well with the Raiders, then everyone will look at this differently. If he takes them to the playoffs and wins some games, it will be a good trade for them. I know what Palmer is capable of, he hasn't been himself the last several years, whether that be the combination of injuries and all the distractions, I don't know. I just seen games last year that looked like the Palmer of old, when the line was blocking, when the WR's were running the right routes, when the play calling wasn't so predictable, he looked nearly unstoppable against the Chargers. I know that's just one game, but he played good in more than one. I just think a change of scenery will do him good, I know he's not a bad QB. All I'm saying is, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he went to Oakland and came alive. The Raiders have a good team, I'm sure he will love playing in California.He's no longer on the Bengals, you don't have to blindly defend him anyway.
They don't have a lot of good pieces, they have a bunch of scrub WRs, a shitty OL, and a great, but inconsistent RB.
