Rip is a hybrid between Korver and Deng pretty much (corner 3 is the Korver)
they dont need another one of those.
he wouldnt have helped much in this series imo. it would have still ended in 5

OJ is perfect. I think JR would be good too(lol he just got arrested in miami)
or how about a reuniting BKS. Jamal o_O
I honestly wouldn't be against Jamal if it came down to that. Obviously he isn't gonna help us on defense, but we have one of the best defensive units in the league and under Thibs, he wouldn't be as awful as he's been. The scoring punch Jamal could add is something this team needs desperately, so I wouldn't mind him coming back. I'm sure the organization might feel different, but it's something you've gotta look at. If they really don't like his defense, start Ronnie Brewer (like he was suppose to this year) and have Crawford be the great sixth man that he's been for the past few years. We should get enough scoring from Rose-Boozer-Deng, that having Ronnie start wouldn't kill us.

Also, I know we're getting off topic, but if I hear one more Bulls fan ask for Boozer to be ought of town, I might flip a shit. Seriously, we've needed a low post scorer for 10 years now and once we finally get one, everybody wants to push him out of town. Boozer will be just fine, give him and Noah a full off-season/training camp to actually work together (Boozer was hurt last year) and their chemistry will only grow. I'm sick of hearing Taj Gibson is better than Boozer, because he clearly isn't. Gibson is a nice energy player off the bench and would be a joke of a starter. You can't have Noah/Gibson as your starting bigs, that's no offense.

Cavs should buyout Baron

and about this potential trade, cool
this would only happen in this weak draft. good for cleveland for potentially jumping at the chance at getting #1 and #2

and Rip potentiall going to Chicago, meh. They dont need another spot up mid range jump shooter. what does Rip do differently than Deng on offense? not much

they need a guy who can get his own shot. Rip can, sure. but he's a lot better being spoon fed. he'd be an upgrade, but they should look elsewhere first
Kyrie and D-Will would be pretty high picks in most drafts.. The reason the Wolves would do this is because I'm pretty sure Enes Kanter is who they want, since D-Will would be a back up for the next 5 years or so on their team as long as they resign Kevin Love and have Beasley.. Kanter makes the most sense, and they can get him at #4 so why not pick up another pick.

I just can't see where Detroit would have room to get anything back of value. Seems like cap relief to me.

Let's be real here. Rip is much more talented then any of the 2's on the Bulls roster, and would be a great addition for that team.

Apparently we aren't interested though, unless we get a player back.
That is was Broussard said at least.

He doesn't really make them any better or put them over the top though. He adds nothing new to the team and is on a steady decline.

You are underrating Rip.
If he was put on a team where he was guaranteed the minutes and actually had a coach and structure, he would average an easy 17 a game in my opinion.
Trust me, dude can still score. He is also an underrated defender.

Well, when people talk bout him they usually just point to the fact they think his scoring is on the decline. Never hear much of, "he's a good defender though." lol

I think Rip needs to be on a team with other guys that he can just play backup too. Like alot of people have mentioned, Chicago.

Rip wouldn't work in Chicago. In Detroit, when he was still a good scorer, a lot of his points came on plays drawn up for him with like 4 screens and then he'd catch and shoot. That won't work with Rose. Rip would just be a better shooting Bogans. I'd say he puts up maybe 13 PPG for Chicago.

Considering Chicago only got 9 combined points per game from their two SG's in the playoffs, I think they'd be fine with that.

No, he wouldn't be. Rip can't create his own shot and can't handle the ball. Rip is not what we want/need.

You aren't going to find a guy who can really create his own shot, those guys don't grow on trees.
