We're all homers, imo
You still have yet to name a time I was extremely biased and wrong about a Duke player coming into the league....

I'd give you that when Redick first came out I drove people up the wall on this board but I was 13 haha. And you weren't here for that.

You're without a doubt a bigger homer. Olynyk would average what...17? Lol

Erman and Malone kind of fought over what defense they should run in GS, they ultimately went with Erman's principles where big men lay back on ball screens, etc and built one of the best defenses in the league. The Pelicans have been running the heavy hedging scheme of Malone for the last five seasons and have been consistently one of the worst defenses in the league.

Eric Gordon would opt out of what... 15 million?

Was something that was very possible at one point in time, that came from sources inside the organization, wasn't my words or opinion.

Remember when Nola flipped the shit because the Chris Paul trade got denied and he said the NBA had a hidden agenda? Lol, oh man good times.

The Pelicans would currently have Goran Dragic, Luis Scola, Kevin Martin, and that 1st round pick instead of Anthony Davis and company.

You have to understand Dell was trying to keep his job though. A new ownership group was coming in, he was completely blind. Who is more likely to be kept, the GM who put together a 45+ win team or the GM of a team that barely wins 20 games? He had no way of knowing.

Im just saying you were so pissed off because the trade didnt go through and everyone on the forums said it was a bad trade for the Hornets.

Now the Pelicans have the future MVP fall into their laps and they are going to be competitive and relevant for the next 5+ years. Funny how things work themselves out.

Very true, I was looking through the eyes of Dell at the time but obviously I'm glad it's worked out the way it has.

Not to mention the clippers deal was way worse

I would say bosox has more homerish opinions but Nola is far more likely to bring up random things about his team that no one cares about

I don't think Ryno is a Gentry kind of player.

He's one of three capable shooters on your team... and one of them is just really not that good (Gordon)
