More on What Dixie Carter Said to TNA Wrestlers at Today's Meeting, Pay Issues Brought Up

- We noted earlier that Dixie Carter told the TNA staff and talents on a conference call today that the company had been given no word of any issues from Destination America and they were in good standing with the network. Beyond that, it was noted by PWInsider that there were no real explanations given regarding the current situation with Destination America. The feeling among most in TNA is that officials didn't even know about Ring of Honor coming to Destination America until it was announced this morning.

It was questioned why TNA couldn't get Destination America to issue a tweet or something about their status. It was intimated that due to the nature of TNA and Destination America's contract, neither side can publicly comment on their relationship. This is the same reason given as to why TNA won't comment on reports that Destination America has an "out clause" for this September.

Regarding Ring of Honor coming to Destination America, the impression was given that TNA couldn't speak on the show until it was announced due to their relationship with Destination America but some people didn't buy that explanation for obvious reasons.

We noted that there were some angry wrestlers on the call and things did get very heated once the talents were allowed to speak. At one point, Dixie reportedly told the talents that it was up to them to show the world why they were the best and why TNA is the best company in the world. She also said they "controlled their own destiny." This led to pay issues and the Spike TV departure being brought up and Dixie reportedly spoke of the pay issues as if they were in the past.

Kevin Owens Working Main WWE Roster After Elimination Chamber?
NXT Champion Kevin Owens is being advertised for a six-man tag team match alongside The Big Show and Seth Rollins against the team of John Cena, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose for the July 13th episode of RAW at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.
As of this writing, Owens is not advertised for any more main roster WWE events, but that could always change.

He has to be. Doesn't make a lot of sense to have him in a PPV match and then just not show up anymore

bringing owens up could fast track joe to the main roster. let finn take the title from owens and call him up. owens to the authority and it could cause a rift between seth and triple h, owens can keep going with cena and then joe can come up and go against the authority with cena and eventually rollins.

You're forgetting the part where Vince holds grudges against ex-TNA guys and turns Joe into a Brodus Clay-esque body guard turned jobber

The only TNA guys who made a name for themselves in TNA before becoming a regular in the WWE were R-Truth and Xavier Woods, and neither are worth a damn anyway, and R-Truth was actually in a world title feud.

Styles no. He'd just be doing what Neville is now. WWE loves to put those generic high flying guys in a box

Neville can't get much higher because he is literally the worst wrestler on the mic in the history of wrestling. Has nothing to do with being put in "a box".

Now don't get me wrong, you can make it far without being able to cut a promo. Jeff Hardy was arguably the most uncharasmatic person to grace a television set, but he had forms of appeal other than high flying, and overall just different target markets.

yea, aj is so well established too. i was just using him as an example. tna does have guys that could help wwe.

lets not get away from the genius plan i lined out though. have that happen over the next few months. add brock as a tweener taking out both sides to set up him vs joe at mania

I don't see any scenario in which Joe gets notable enough to face Brock at Mania.

Jeff Hardy isn't generic though. I know he sucks on the mic, but his appearance is generic.

Styles' appearance is generic. Same with Matt Sydal (Bourne), Neville, etc. Styles is bad on the mic too.
