I honestly don't know if it's the right move anyway. Are they really going to pick up that many viewers from switching the TV rating? Would that be cancelled out by the loss of younger viewers whose parents won't let them watch anymore? 
 
Regardless, they do have to do something. The bigger problem is just a lack of direction and an uncreative creative team.

i think that's where the tv-14 comes in. you'd be able to make the storylines just a little bit more edgy and that'd help a lot. but creative is 100% what's wrong, and that falls on vince since he controls the final product.

vince also supposedly doesn't like what triple h is doing with nxt, doesn't like how they have more die hard fans. doesn't like how the talent is better. he plans on changing everyone's gimmick so they don't get over as they're called up.

I think most of the stuff about Vince towards NXT is fabricated. There is no way he's upset that his developmental brand is doing well. The more believable story would be that he's upset that maybe at times the actual roster isn't performing as well, and people twist that into him hating NXT. It's his brand, of course he wants the main roster being superior

I highly doubt that. The Acension thing i would guess is JBL just being too over the top. As I said before, I think they suck anyway. Seth and Reigns are both NXT guys and they're thriving
