The surprise element is always entertaining, but it doesn't make business sense to not advertise the return of top stars. People will tune in for just him.
10 years ago he would have been kept for a surprise. i agree, they need the business now, can't hold him back.

Bryan is by far the most over guy in the company. He always gets loud pops and everyone chants "yes", even in front of notoriously poor crowds. Capitalizing on his popularity is worth the risk of injury. If they were that worried they would have held him out past the rumble, because otherwise it doesn't make sense for him to compete in it unless he's winning.
That doesn't make sense at all. If nothing else, they're going to give roman the win because the reports are all out there and them not giving roman the win is a sign they don't believe in him. They've dug their own grave with this one. Bryan doesn't need the belt.

"The reports" are more often wrong than right.

This isn't a typical report. Clearly the WWE is trying to push Roman into the spot where he can be the guy. It's been constant.

Doesn't mean he's going to win the rumble though. He's better off beating Lesnar in a non title match at Mania, as it won't be the main event so his lacking skills won't be too on display, but beating Lesnar, who is leaving to fight in the UFC will cement him just as much.

Yeah in my mind I keep thinking that Lesnar is going to be the champion at Mania but recent reports indicate it might be Rollins in which case I don't think they want to rush a Reigns/Rollins title feud and Dean isn't credible enough at this point to get in on that.

a lesnar/reigns main event would be so horrible and i truly think they know that too. a cena/reigns match would be just as bad too.

I think Rollins is going to walk out of the rumble with the title, but I think he'll drop it at Fast Line. I imagine whoever wins at Mania (Ambrose, Bryan or Reigns) is going to have a lengthy reign, so they need to get that brief case off Rollins.

On Mondays episode of Raw, new tag team The Ascension announced that they were better than legendary teams Demolition and The Road Warriors. They then made fun of Road Warrior Hawks catchphrase oh what a rush and that made them the mortal enemy of every pro wrestler over 40.

JBL relentlessly insulted and complained about them on commentary, which was actually a directive given to him over his headset from Vince McMahon. The WWE CEO and Chairman, who is not a fan of the duo to begin with, felt the promo died before the live audience.

then why the fuck did you give them that look and gimmick, vince?!

i would love to see ambrose win the rumble but i don't think his time is yet

Yeah, Rollins is definitely cashing at Rumble. It would actually make sense for him to drop it at Fast Lane or w/e the hell that PPV is called these days but I really hope he doesn't. We need a brand split.

The commentators buried the Ascension so hard, it was pretty bad. They've handled them poorly since the call up

The Ascension is pretty shitty tbh. I'm not a fan of tag team wrestling tho.

they never had a chance imo. they won't be sent back down but they'll be jobbing for a long time. they should have been called up six months ago.

On February 22, 2015, the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee will play host to WWE Fast Lane. It will be the inaugural event, replacing WWEs Elimination Chamber after five years. Though the show is still several weeks away, the main event has apparently already been made.

According to multiple accounts on social media, a commercial promoting the event aired in the Memphis, Tennessee area during Sundays Memphis Grizzlies vs. Phoenix Suns game and it was announced that John Cena and Roman Reigns will face Seth Rollins and Big Show.

PLEASE. GOD. NO.
