Big E Langston defending IC title
Since the championship belt has been largely neglected over the last several weeks, there are plans in place backstage for Big E Langston to begin defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship after Wrestlemania 30. Management wants to put him into a title program against Alberto Del Rio, which could culminate into a match at Extreme Rules 2014.

 

Triple H handling payroll
In a rather interesting move, Triple H is now personally handling the payroll department for WWE. While some are saying that it is a temporary move because it is a time consuming position, the belief is that HHH will put the right people in place, so that he will have his fingers on the department. He now controls how much talent gets paid.

 
Daniel Bryan next feud
With so many people expecting him to win the WWE championship at Wrestlemania 30, some have started looking at plans for Daniel Bryan after the big pay per view. Right now, management has plans penciled in for Bryan to continue working with Randy Orton. No sort of confirmation has been given yet as to which one will be the champion, though.

​WZ has learned from WWE sources that a segment was apparently pitched to Stone Cold Steve Austin and CM Punk for WrestleMania 30.

The segment was based around its ending, which would have seen Austin giving Punk a stunner, to set up a match at WrestleMania 31. There has been no word on whether or not either man agreed to the angle, and we reported earlier today that Punk was still in Chicago as of last night.

We're also hearing many in WWE are under the impression The Rock will be flying in to New Orleans on Sunday to be featured in a segment at WrestleMania.

Last Wrestlemania for Christian
There are rumors that Wrestlemania 30 is being viewed as the last one for Christian. Aside from being on the other side of 40, there are still lingering concerns about his concussion history within WWE. The belief over the last couple of months is that management really tried hard to make sure that there was a spot for the veteran on the pay per view.
