I thought about getting this PPV, but from what I've seen, it's a good thing that I didn't. That PPV is usually one I like to watch, if I had to choose one, aside from Mania. I wasn't surprised that Daniel Bryan wasn't in the Rumble. They may have done this in the past, but I don't remember someone being in the Rumble, when they had a match earlier in the PPV. I'm probably wrong, but if it's happened, it probably isn't that common.
 
Same goes for Roman Reigns not winning. When Kane tossed out his 11, he didn't win either iirc.
