WWE RAW Results (12/23/13)
WWE taped the 12/13 Christmas edition of WWE RAW on Tuesday night from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Here are the results:
- JBL and Michael Cole are doing commentary. Jerry Lawler is not at ringside.
- The Authority opens the show and hands out Santa Claus hats to the crowd.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton comes out and is given the night off.
- Natalya, The Bella Twins, Eva Marie, Cameron and Naomi defeated AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes and one other Diva in a 12 Divas Jingle Bells match. Natalya got the win for her team by making Aksana submit to the Sharpshooter.
- Sin Cara defeated Curtis Axel.
- Up next, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. The Wyatt Family in a Christmas 6 Man Tag Team Match:

- The Wyatt Family defeated Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and Goldust when Bray Wyatt hit Sister Abagail  on Cody. The Wyatts dominated early until Cody got a hot tag and unloaded on the Wyatts. Goldust tagged in and the Wyatts beat him up for a few minutes.
Bryan finally got a hot tag and cleared the ring. The crowd was very into this match with a loud “This is awesome” during Bryan’s offense.
After the mach, everybody brawled until the Wyatt Family laid out Daniel Bryan. The lights went out and when they went back on, Daniel Bryan was knocked out in the ring and the Wyatt Family was standing by the ramp.
- Up next, Rene Young hosts a singing carol contest. 3MB’s Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre are out first, followed by Santino, Great Khali, R-Truth, Xavier Woods and the Funkadactyls.
- Fandango defeated Dolph Ziggler in Christmas Gift on a Pole Match to earn a shot at Big E Langston’s Intercontinental Championship on the first RAW of 2014.
- The Usos defeated The Prime Time Players. Before the match, Daniel Young was cutting a promo and said that they were in Houston, Texas (they’re in Austin). The crowd chanted “This is Austin” and “Houston Sucks.”
- “Good Santa” Mark Henry defeated “Bad Santa” Damien Sandow in the battle to save Christmas. Christmas trees and presents were set up around the ring for the match. Both men were dressed as Santa Claus during the match. They opened a present in the ring and it was a toilet. Both men brawled around the ring and up to the ramp. Sandow destroyed part of the set and knocked over a Christmas tree.
- Los Matadores defeated The Real Americans.

- Ryback defeated Kofi Kingston.
- We get a special Happy New Year message from ‘Baby New Year’ ….

i wouldnt believe that until wwe announces it. its just hard to believe some ticket website will announce it for a house show. they need ratings and ppv buys, bad. theyd be better off having him just surprise the crowd and start writing him in.

I'm thinking surprise entrant in the Rumble. He'd be a nice draw for the run to wrestlemania.

WWE® Superstar John Cena® Appointed Captain of Team Fruity; Professional Basketball Player Kyrie Irving to Lead Team Cocoa

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Dec. 20, 2013 -- /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Post Foods, LLC, launched a friendly competition between Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles to see which cereal is most popular among fans. Online and mobile competitions from January through September 2014 will rally support for each flavor. WWE Superstar John Cena returns to the front of Post Fruity Pebbles cereal boxes and will serve as captain for Team Fruity. Professional Basketball All Star Kyrie Irving will take his long-time love for Cocoa Pebbles to the next level by appearing on Post Cocoa Pebbles cereal boxes as captain of Team Cocoa.

In 2014, Pebbles will ask fans of all ages to choose a side - are you on Team Fruity or Team Cocoa? Fans can declare their love for their favorite Pebbles flavor by visiting a microsite and downloading an interactive app encouraging fans to vote, take photos, and play minigames. They will be asked to complete simple challenges such as making team spirit items like pennants out of Pebbles boxes, and sharing them through Instagram using their team's hashtag (#TeamFruity or #TeamCocoa). Fans who complete these online missions and choose a side will be able to win prizes like giftcards, iPads, or John Cena and Kyrie Irving signed merchandise.

"Our 2014 campaign builds upon the genuine love that our fans have for Pebbles cereal," said Sharon Pupel, Marketing Director at Post Foods, LLC. "We are enlisting celebrities, sports stars, musicians and regular kids to share with us their love for Pebbles, and we're starting with WWE Superstar John Cena and basketball all-star Kyrie Irving. With the help of our team captains, kids will be able to show their team spirit and earn fun prizes along the way."

In addition to adding famous team captains to the Pebbles roster, the brand is expanding its social media presence beyond Facebook to Twitter and Instagram. In their roles as team captains, John Cena and Kyrie Irving will announce new missions digitally and interact with fans online.

When Pebbles fans choose a side, they will also be supporting their team captain's nonprofit organization. Cena, Team Fruity members and WWE, will be raising awareness for Hire Heroes USA, an organization dedicated to creating job opportunities for US military veterans and their spouses through personalized employment training and corporate engagement.

"It's truly an honor to add 'team captain' for Fruity Pebbles to my resume and support Hire Heroes USA while doing so," said WWE Superstar John Cena. "Kyrie is a tough competitor on the court, but let's see how he does in this competition. He better be ready for Team Fruity."

Team Cocoa members will be helping Kyrie reach out to middle schools, high schools and the larger community to help educate people about the unique skills and needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the nonprofit, Best Buddies.

"I've loved Cocoa Pebbles since I was a kid, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this team off the basketball court," said 2011 Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving. "As the team captain for Cocoa Pebbles, I hope to take our fans to the championship and show John Cena and Team Fruity which team really rocks."

Brock Lesnar returning to UFC

Word going around right now is that heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is attempting to make a return to UFC. His body has had time to heal up considerably since retiring from mixed martial arts and only working sporadically for WWE.

his body wont hold up. the constant dieting and training will take its toll again. dude looked lost in his last fight.

not to mention he'd be so far out of the title picture he wouldnt even be interested. maybe one more fight but i cant see him fighting full time again.

HHH said that 2014 was gonna be "year of the tag teams" or something like that in a creative meeting.

Hopefully they actually go through with that. The tag division is looking pretty good right now.
