I guess all us Italians can only wait and see what our team does. Lippi made some questionable roster moves that could either work in our favor or like mg said, bite us in the ass.

That's true. He's so old school with his approach... I don't like it. Like decisions of leaving Rossi off the team? It just doesn't make sense. He's young, he brings a feel up front with a ton of energy and he would grow up in this stage. I don't know.

As for Pirlo, we really need him. He's such a magician with the ball, he has excellent ability to read the play and his free kicks can be outstanding.

I REALLY hope Pirlo will be able to play, if not that will be a huge blow to our team. As for Rossi, I agree. Not giving him a roster spot was a bad move.

I'm reading right now that Pirlo could be back for the third game against New Zealand. That doesn't help us, when the toughest game is against Paraguay first.

Yeah exactly. I have no problem with the other two teams, but Paraguay shouldn't even be a hard team, its the biggest competition in our group.

Which actually isn't always a good thing. It's good to face adversity in the group stages.

Yeah I know. I think our group is actually pretty well rounded. I am just nervous for the elimination rounds. We have to face like Spain, Brazil, or Portugal in round 2 I think it was, if we make it there.

Well, considering Italy always plays the "weaker" teams so soft, and loves to make a game of it for some reason. That is one thing I hate about our mentality. But yes, Baggino is right. You want to see them get tested in the group stages.

Pft, I'm a bit sick of Donovan talking about Rooney all the time. Shut up and accomplish something in football you twat.

I hope Rooney smashes it, just to shut that wanker up.

I cant believe Tommy Smyth picked Portugal over Brazil. Wow, I dont think Brazil will lose against the Portugese. Kaka vs. Ronaldo is going to be exciting to watch.
