The Mavericks are among the teams interested in Kings shooting guard Kevin Martin.

The Sacramento Bee points out that the struggles of the two teams could increase the possibility of a deal. Dallas has lost four of their last five games, which may encourage them to swing a trade prior to the Feb. 18 deadline.

Any deal sending Martin to the Mavericks would likely have to involve a third team.

Rumors about BG already? We'd be stupid to move him, I'd rather move CV if we'd be getting another PF back..
Possibilities with Philadelphia could be stronger with two fronts, a deal between bringing in swingman Andre Iguodala for Stoudemire with perhaps young power forward Marreese Speights or a three-way deal involving Detroit with Pistons guard Ben Gordon winding up in Philadelphia and the Suns getting Iguodala and Detroit power forward Chris Wilcox. The rub with Iguodala, a 26-year-old former Arizona star, is inheriting a contract that will pay him $56.5 million over the next four seasons.

Damn the rumor mill is looking nice... Lets see what I can find

Richard Jefferson

Jefferson has barely anything to do in the NBA Trade Rumors because of his untradeable contract. Says Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo!:

League sources say the Spurs have raised (Richard Jefferson's) name in trades talks but found out quickly there's no market for him and his contract.

Boo hoo. Jefferson has been, shall I say, a disappointment with San Antonio lately. Hasn't been doing much and the Spurs are in a hole. They just lost to the Lakers without Kobe and allowed Pau Gasol to look like a weirder-looking version with the talent of LeBron James! And they are 29-21 now, I believe.

Might as well have to at least try to ship him off. Tyrus Thomas and Amare Stoudemire have been in talks with the Spurs so far with the Richard Jefferson issue.

Brendan Haywood

With Joel Pyrzbilla and Greg Oden out for the season with the Blazers, they have been looking at Wizards' center Brendan Haywood. But what would Portland offer for him? The Wizards suggest Rudy Fernandez and/or Nicolas Batum.

Other teams in the mix for Haywood have been the Rockets, Heat, Bobcats, and still a bit of the 76ers who may offer Andre Iguodala for him and Caron Butler.

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks have been looking at a lot of guys lately. They have extremely strong interest in Caron Butler as of late. They have also gone into Kevin Martin of the Kings, in which they would give up Erick Dampier and Josh Howard. They would also give up those guys for Andre Iguodala. I expect the Mavs to get somebody by the trade deadline.

Amare Stoudemire

Here we go again. Amare Stoudemire has been getting all the interest he wants still. The Detroit Pistons are now in the mix. But here's a crazier scenario with Stoudemire in the mix of a deal between the Sixers, Pistons, and Suns together! Writes Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic:

Possibilities with Philadelphia could be stronger with two fronts, a deal between bringing in swingman Andre Iguodala for Stoudemire with perhaps young power forward Marreese Speights or a three-way deal involving Detroit with Pistons guard Ben Gordon winding up in Philadelphia and the Suns getting Iguodala and Detroit power forward Chris Wilcox.

Good deal. And like last time in the trade rumors, those same other teams have interest in Amare like the Nets, Bulls, Spurs, you know...

Marcus Camby

Marcus Camby is in the rumors, too! With the Clippers out of playoff contention, there's been rumors off Camby being shipped off. Interests for Camby include the Knicks and his old team: the Nuggets.

Camby would most likely fall in New York. It has been said that Darko Milicic will be the suitor if the Clippers were to ship him off.

Tyrus Thomas

Tyrus Thomas has been in the rumors. The Nuggets have been looking for a big man lately, and Thomas seems their best option. Also, Thomas can fall with the Celtics or Lakers if the Kirk Hinrich rumors were to fall.

Along with that, the Spurs and Kings have been looking at Thomas. Spurs could offer Manu Ginobili's expiring contract along with the Kings putting up Kevin Martin. There is also the Blazers, who are in very deep need of a big man. Rudy Fernandez or Nicolas Batum would be offered most likely.

Milwaukee Bucks

Luke Ridinour, Hakim Warrick, and Joe Alexander may all be on the move. Writes the Journal Times:

Some people in the know claim the Milwaukee Bucks are dangling veteran point guard Luke Ridnour, who is having a stellar season, along with veteran forward Hakim Warrick and young forward Joe Alexander, whom the Bucks chose with the eighth overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft but have since soured on.

Kevin Martin for Tyrus Thomas? Says who? That'd be the worst trade in Kings history.

Mavs want Caron Butler BAD. But they aren't willing to give up Beaubois and I'm all for this. I'm not going to let us trade someone who will torture us in the next 10 years

If 10 years from now Beaubois was your franchise player, then not trading him would be dumb.
This team is obviously has a win now make-up, they need to do it now...Your window is closing so fast.

The Los Angeles Clippers have assembled a solid supporting cast they’d love LeBron James to lead, but will only have about $10 million to spend. While Al Thornton and Sebastian Telfair are available, they’d probably still be a little short of a maximum offer after unloading them. They might be better off making a deal for a small forward (such as Andre Iguodala) at the trade deadline. New York Times
The Boston Celtics and Charlotte Bobcats are discussing a trade centered around Glen "Big Baby'' Davis and D.J. Augustin, according to league sources. The sources cautioned that nothing is imminent, but said the clubs are having discussions. ESPN.com

A straight-up trade would not work because Davis is a base-year compensation player, so other players would have to be involved to meet the financial requirements. That could be a sticking point in the deal. ESPN.com

The Celtics have been rumored to be shopping Ray Allen, and while league sources insist the word "shopping'' is too strong, they say the shooting guard is definitely available. Few believe he'll be traded before the Feb. 18 deadline, though, because the Celtics aren't likely to get a better player in return. ESPN.com
Miami and Charlotte remain in the mix with the Rockets and Trail Blazers for Wizards center Brendan Haywood. The Blazers continue to steadfastly reject any scenario that includes Rudy Fernandez or Nicolas Batum. CBSSports.com
Two Western Conference teams intrigued by Thomas are the Nuggets, patiently seeking a big man to contend with the Lakers, and the Spurs, who were characterized by two rival executives as desperate to acquire an athletic big man. CBSSports.com
With D'Antoni saying Nate Robinson is "a shooting guard," it exacerbates their need for point guard help at the Feb. 18 trade deadline and they have been linked to Bobcats point guard Acie Law, who has been given permission to talk to other clubs. New York Post

I read Acie will be gone for sure by the deadline and New York is his likely landing spot.
Denver and New York also want Marcus Camby badly, with LAC looking for more cap relief to over that max deal to LBJ..

Acie Law definently isnt the answer for us at PG

The Heat have emerged as a determined pursuer of Suns forward Amare Stoudemire, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Miami is proposing a number of different packages and president Pat Riley is making anyone short of Dwyane Wade available.

"Nobody is pushing harder on this than Riley," one league source said.

The Heat have proposed scenarios involving young players like Michael Beasley and expiring contracts like Jermaine O'Neal. In addition, they are willing to trade their 2010 first-round pick.

Phoenix is believed to be in talks with as many as six teams.
Idk about this, Beasley is coming into his own this season

Would Wade and Amare really be all that great though?
They still don't have a real good PG, and they have no supporting cast outside of them 2 if they make that trade really..

But I guess if Wade could carry that team, Amare with Wade would be fine?

League sources say the Sacramento Kings also have discussed a package that would include sending Kevin Martin to the Suns for [Amare] Stoudemire.

Teams began to frequently call the Bulls about Tyrus Thomas' availability following his blow-up with Vinny Del Negro.

Chicago is determined to deal Thomas and are looking for expiring contracts and a 2010 or future first-round draft pick, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Bulls are also exploring ways to package Thomas with Kirk Hinrich.

Charlotte has offered Acie Law, Flip Murray and their 2010 first-round pick, a league executive said.

Portland has offered Steve Blake or Travis Outlaw, who are both expirings, along with two second round picks.

The New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Hornets are among the multiple teams who’ve spoken to Chicago about Thomas.

Knicks, Houston, Wizards working on a 3 team deal where Houston gets Caron Butler and Knicks get T-Mac. If the deal gets done it seems like would we get Jamison for either Wally S&T or Z, then hopefully he gets waived. But a 3 way with Cleveland, Houston and Washington would make sense as well..

Butler to Houston
Jamison to Cleveland
T-Mac to Washington

with other salary fillers. Trade just makes more sense since the Rockets probably have to take on Jeffries, and they probably would rather not have that.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas said he was not worried about next week's trade deadline. In order for Cleveland to make a major move, they will likely be forced to deal his expiring contract.

"I want to be here, but we have to wait and see," he said. "I don't know anything. I've got two kids at home. I've got enough stuff to worry about."

Most experts expect Ilgauskas to be waived and return to the Cavaliers if he is traded.

"The puppet has a no-trade contract," he said.

Al Harrington is aware and unhappy with the fact that Mike D'Antoni is eager to trade him.

If the Knicks aren't able to trade Harrington by next Thursday's deadline, the last six weeks of the season could result in locker room disharmony.

Sources close to the Pacers say there is significant interest from Sacramento in Troy Murphy.

The Kings are pursuing a straight up deal centered around the expiring contract of Kenny Thomas ($8.5 million).

Indiana would surely push to include at least one of the Kings prospects such as Donte Greene.

The Bucks may move Luke Ridnour and his expiring contract before the deadline and the Knicks would be 'very interested', according to Newsday's Alan Hahn.

RealGM Note: Ridnour is making $6.5 million this season and is having the most efficient year of his career.
