that team's Offense would be crazy

i'd like to see any team try and shut that down

it wont happen though. laker rumors never come true
i mean where the hell did the Pau trade come from?
and the Artest signing?

one day i came home and saw on ESPN that they traded Mo Evans and Cook for Ariza, and Vlad for Shannon/Ammo

whatever. i would like to see something happen though. even if it's a 10-day contract

idk, it seems like a stupid trade for the Lakers in a way. I mean of course the offensive fire power is something you would love but Bosh is a softy and that would be horrible to go with Pau on the defensive end. But like I said, the offense would be fire obviously.

it wouldnt be awful imo

1. Toronto gets a true C and allows Bargnani to play PF
2. Lakers would get a freakin stud forward who Phil Jackson LOVES (he got fined a few years back saying the lakers would look at him when he becomes a FA)

and it could work.
Bynum and Pau hasnt been as good as everyone thought. i mean it's ok, but not great
Bosh would work better with Pau since he's able to spread the floor more than Bynum

but Vescey wrote this. he's crazy
i remember he said JO to the Lakers was a done deal.
ummm, yeah

It would work on offense, but defense idk. Both are PFs and soft. Would be scary though and Bynum I think would work well with the Raptors, he might be more motivated to rebound if he were to get more touches on offense and to get him into the game.

Yeah Bynum would be a good fit in Toronto and teams in West are better defesively than the Eastern teams :p.

Pau is a saavy defender

just ask Dwight how soft he is
he pretty much shut him down

and artest is huge he can guard most PF's and Bosh is quick enough to try and defend some 3's
(lol im half serious here)

Dwight isn't that tough to cover, yea he's great and all but if you stick a big man on him who is just as tall and mobile that can rebound, he'll be neutralized.

A source told Marc Berman that the Rockets' GM Daryl Morey is interested in either of the Knicks' two rookie draft picks -- Jordan Hill or Toney Douglas -- in exchange for Tracy McGrady.

But Morey indicated that it could be difficult to find a match between the two teams.

"There might not be a fit with New York because their goals don't necessarily meet our goals," Morey said. "I think they like him but there's an issue of fit."

Via New York Post
As long as we're able to include either Curry or Jeffries Im all for a trade with one of the 2. I would rather send Douglas even though he has played the best out of the 2 but, Hill could develop into that low post defensive shot blocker we so desperately need.

Plus we need the 2nd MAX contract lol

With the addition of Hilton Armstrong, the Kings now have six players with expiring contracts. The Kings are also expected to get Kevin Martin back this week and Francisco Garcia should be able to play later this month.

Will the Kings, with a plethora of swing-players and expiring contracts, make a trade?

"The whole trading deadline thing is not anywhere near its full regale yet," Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie tells The Sacramento Bee. "We'll see what happens on every front."

A league source said the Cavs have also made a run at Hornets power forward David West. The Cavs are dangling center Zydrunas Ilgauskas out there for the Hornets, who want to avoid paying the luxury tax at all cost.

Hey cheato, who would the Cavs give up if they were going after Kmart? I saw they were one of the teams reportedly interested but I can't figure out who they'd trade.

Apparently the Thunder are making a run for CB4. I really don't know who they'd give up.

I don't know. JJ Hickson seems like the only viable player we would give up.

So in other words you doubt you'd guys would even go after him.

Pretty much, it'd be nice to have Martin but we need a scoring 4.

Well that and I doubt we have enough for the Kings to even listen to us.

The Bulls are believed to still think highly of Nocioni, and they just so happen to have a defensive-minded big man in Tyrus Thomas who they are reportedly open to trading. Thomas is owed $4.7 million this season and is a restricted free agent this summer, meaning the Kings could give him a long look before deciding whether or not to keep him.
There is a lot of speculation about whether the Kings will trade Kevin Martin since many pundits don't think Martin and rookie Tyreke Evans can play together in the backcourt.

A Kings frontcourt player could also be on the move and we are not talking about Kenny Thomas.

The Kings have a plethora of small forwards and that will increase when Francisco Garcia returns in the near future. The player on the trade block and the most likely to be dealt is Andres Nocioni.

The Sacramento Bee thinks a deal sending Nocioni to Chicago for Tyrus Thomas bears watching since the Bulls still like Nocioni and Thomas has issues with his lack of playing time at power forward.

Yesterday, we noted that Devin Harris is one name that could be moved before the trade deadline, as the Nets could be in more of a sell mode to get talent now if don't think they can land a big-name free agent this offseason.

So might the Lakers be a spot for Harris? On today's NBA Today podcast with Ryen Russillo, ESPN's Ric Bucher says they've inquired, and the thinking behind it might be they are lacking defense on the perimeter.
lol Bosh and Devin Harris rumors
who's next?
