The Knicks and Rockets continue to discuss a deal for Tracy McGrady.

Larry Hughes would be in the package and not Al Harrington, league sources tell Yahoo! Sports. The Knicks presumably would want to use Harrington in a separate deal, possibly for Tyrus Thomas. Jared Jeffries and Jordan Hill would be the other components of the proposed trade.

The Milwaukee Bucks will not make a deal for Troy Murphy, according to Mike Wells of the Indy Star.

The Bucks have been mentioned, along with Cleveland and Sacramento, as one of three destinations for Murphy.

Trade talks between the Cavaliers and Wizards for Antawn Jamison have intensified on Tuesday, sources tell Yahoo! The Cavaliers have yet to meet Washington's asking price, which is believed to include J.J. Hickson.

Still might not happen, Cavs no.1 priority is probably Amare since LeBron is pushing hard for it, but Ferry might move on if he doesn't get an answer from Kerr soon since he wants to be able to fall back on this Jamison deal if they decline.

The Clippers held off on discussing center Chris Kaman prior to trading Marcus Camby to the Trail Blazers.

According to sources, the Pistons are now showing interest in Kaman, who is a Michigan native.

Detroit has been looking for a big man and they have been linked to Utah's Carlos Boozer and Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire.

Sources added that Los Angeles is unlikely to deal Kaman, even though he has two years and $23.5 million remaining on his contract (after this season).

Love the fact we wait till he is an All-Star. We probably could of got him for Prince straight up in the off-season.

Because we need to think of the future as well.. Shaq and Z are in going to be done soon, we need another young front court player to go along with Varejao, LBJ and Powe(Maybe?) but we'll have Hickson if we don't trade him too but Amare is better and still young plus if we get him on the team and signed, I would bet LeBron would sign back with us before the off-season and if you know he'll sign during the season if we get Amare, you go get Amare if possible.

There have been rumors that the Cavaliers could turn around and trade Shaquille O'Neal if they acquire Amare Stoudemire.

Rumors indicated that Cleveland could deal O'Neal for either Antawn Jamison or Troy Murphy if they landed Stoudemire.

"Anyone who thinks the Cavs are trading Shaq has absolutely no grasp of reality. Been awhile since a game, but remember Cavs are 43-11," Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote on his Twitter page.
